To be fair, fake-Lotus was around for a good few years. Looking up dates on the wiki... it was almost exactly 4 years from Apostasy Prologue to The New War, which isn't quite 3 years old yet. Obviously, 3 years is plenty long enough to have caught up by now, but 4 years is a long time for screenshots and memes to accumulate.

More accurate than staff weappns, which was the point here, but one major thing always got overlooked in stargate: ammo. I dont think ive ever seen a staff running out. But you are presented with character reloading p90s every few seconds in every fight. Kinda annoying they never just tried import improving staff weapons.

After that, they just limited it to opening wormholes into black holes, time travel, and handheld zero point energy. Just mundane shit, really.

Presumably, "disintegration" turns the object into an equivalent mass of some kind of residue: dust, vapor, etc. Which you would *absolutely not* want to do to nuclear waste.
Of course, realistically, the energy you'd have to dump into any object to vaporize it would leave the resulting gas cloud very hot, and hot gasses expand...
"Three shots disintegrates" might be the *most* absurdly impossible thing in the entire show. Most everything else at least got some technobabble justification...

It was just convenient at the time, so the plot didnt have to think about bodies laying around. But even that same episode, where they need to cripple the ship they are on… cant this thing just disintegrate key parts of this ship? Oh well, maybe it only works on organics like people *few episodes later, uses it disintegrate a box of evidence* oh… cant this think just zap entire ships? Why dont death gliders have these?

After the Lotus is kidnapped by Ballas some time before the New War quest, Ordis renders a hologram of the Lotus to replace her in mission transmissions. This transmission is when a capture mission is randomly changed to an exterminate mission.

I don't know their turnover rates, but I'd assume it would simply be that with game dev jobs doing layoffs all the time and Ubi having studios in major cities, cost of living is high. So if they even left to make their own company, they'd need $$ and a good chunk. Add on gamer's scrutinizing everything Ubi, they can't even be like "we're a bunch of ex ubi devs" because they'd get hated into closing. They're in a lose-lose sitch but at least they have health benefits with Ubi

Look at Rayman Legends, that game looks amazing with it's own specifically designed engine, plays buttery fucking smooth, has no paid DLC, hundreds of things to unlock just by playing including all but three of the levels from the first game "Origins" all updated for the new mechanics, it's two games in one. Every single thing people say they want in games, the kind of thing from when games were "good", and it sold pretty shit and no one talks about. No wonder Ubisoft doesn't give a shit.

As I said in my post, Legends contains almost the entirety of Origins in it, and the story is basically exactly what you'd expect, so you can just play Legends and not really miss anything, playing Origins just means you're playing slightly worse version of what you unlock in Legends.

Not really, if you want the story you will have to play Origins but there's not exactly a lot there and it makes absolutely no difference to Legends story if you know it or not. If you've got time to play both then play both, it won't hurt, it's just if you've got a bit more limited time you can skip origins and be fine with just legends.

Meanwhile there is this perfectly 100% female resistance group in french (historical) that did a fudge ton of sabotage work
