Kuma wants to wave and say hello to Imgur!
He is a very smart (and sometimes quite mischievous) pup.
He's a 16month old black labrador and knows how to use his cuteness to his advantage!
Despite being quite large, he is still a lap pup at heart. He comes to work a couple times a week still and confiscated my big chair to nap on, but still needs my leg.
Added bonus - Kuma trying to eat a tangelo peel (not a fan of the citrus oil coming out it seems)

I use 'bump' as the command. He picks up things so quickly. Does high fives, shake/paw and 'cuddles'. Bump was using a brand new body part

Oh really? It's Japanese for 'bear'. My old pup used to get called bear a lot, was an ode to him.

That tail is a danger to glasses, mugs and shins the world over! So powerful and I swear helps him take off faster in a jump

That's exactly it! My old pup used to get called bear a lot, was a way to love my new pup while remembering my old too. It's a perfect name!

People I know often say Kumar, with a strong R sound at the end. I think my family hear me say it enough to get used to it

He's still filling out muscle-wise, but saw photos of both parents and met one. Definitely full labs. He's super energetic for a lab though!

Our black lab is about 11 now and starting to show his age a bit, white and grey popping up everywhere. Full of bumps and lumps as well

Poor thing. My last one passed April 2020 & had just turned 10 and had the grey whiskers. Looking back kuma is looking more like my old one!
