Was this Florida? When I lived there, it was 90F or 91F 95% of the time in the summer. They made a big deal if it was going to be hotter or colder than that.
They'll ask us to set the thermostat to 80°F (26.6°C) so as to have enough power for the ai data centers. We must sacrifice for their greater good. $$$
After I learned how to alter perceptions through manipulating statistics, I saw examples of it everywhere. This should be taught in high-school, not college.
This is what is known in the business as a visualization lie, and while the stakes here are low, it's a symptom of Fox's ongoing feud with data integrity.

There's a bunch of games that displayed them. Rampage World Tour (n64), Driver, Driver 76, and Driver Parallel Lines (ps1), Pilotwings 64 (n64, Parasite Eve (ps1), Tekken 2, Streets of Rage 2 (genesis/megadrive), NHL 2001, Spider-Man 2 (ps1), Max Payne 1, most older flight sims, Sim City 200 and 3000, City Connection (nes), TMNT Manhattan Project, Deus Ex, Red Alert 2, Final Fight (arcade, at least), Midnight Club (ps2), Rush 2 (n64), Jack Chan: Stuntmaster (ps1), Buster Bros, prob a ton more.
My personal favorites are always the ones where the higher #s have lower bars, as if just by making them look lower they become that (which is probably true for the average Fox viewer I guess :/)
I looked up my local affiliate. That website is full of shit. And I bet I know why.
The "News" bits are reasonably unbiased, sure. But they are deliberately interwoven with talking heads to push opinion as fact. So while the website says in its methodology "requires reviewing a minimum of 10 headlines and 5 full news stories from each source", it is useless for judging bias because it neatly sidesteps their status the same way Fox News is not legally defined as "News", but "Entertainment"
I'm not saying every local Fox affiliate is great, just that they aren't all grouped together as fox news. Mine is owned by Tegna and has one of the highest diversity rates out there. All the local ones are completely different

And that's why we hand-tweak things that the computer made. In a normal week that had more than two fucking temperatures this would look fine.
TheMayorOfTittyCity
92° is the new baseline. that's just "outside temperature" from now on.

To be fair, we can't see below the bottom line where the graduations of units could be equally insane.

On a scale of 92 to 94...that is accurate

Those temperatures are so high that planes fly into them!

This is a Fox affiliate broadcast that is actual news, even though their graphics are poor. It's not the "Fox News" bullshit pipeline.

Local Fox affiliates are not Fox News

Lol right you don't believe who owns fox news also doesn't have ownership stocks in other media?

Its true, sone of these are owned by Sinclair Media, which is significantly further right than fox news.

Also, there is no such classification of news or entertainment. That's just a common myth.
