The way he just goes ham on the pumpkin puree I feel you, little man. If I had a bowl up pumpkin soup half the size of my body in front of me, I would also just drink my entire face into it.
I think that's called neurodermatitis. When you have to scratch through your skin in order to get at the itch. Elderly people who suffer from dementia and skin infections sometimes do just that. The dementia has a disinhibiting effect, so they no longer care that they scratch themselves until they're raw and bleeding as long as the itching is replaced by pain, which is apparently a lot easier to endure than the maddening itch.

That’s like having an itch on the inside of your skin. Idk if it can happen.

Do turtles actually feel things with their shells? Like if you scratch their shell do they feel that?
PirateRubberDuck
Yes they do.
neptix
they certainly react as if they do
FiftyShadesOfMascarpone
Yes. The shell is part of their skeleton and the upper part is covered in keratin plates that are innervated (contain nerve endings). In studies like https://zslpublications.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.1111/j.1469-7998.1986.tb01906.x they were able to accurately locate objects exerting light pressure on their shells.
vegivamp
Oh! I knew they were part of the skeleton and that they had feeling in them, but I didn't realise they were actually innervated. TIL!
