"It Coulda Been Worse !!!" - gov. greg abbott R-TX after the Uvalde massacre in which 19 kids and a couple of teachers were slaughtered by a lone gunman while hundreds of law enforcement waited, doing nothing.
The company is really shitty about explaining it (to the point where the FAQ is downright insulting) but it has a mechanism similar to an out-the-front spring knife where the blade is partially in the sheath and partially retracted into the handle.
This comment is tone deaf. You clearly don't understand the message that the picture is trying to send.
Also as another commenter pointed out, the main issue here isn't the "mental illness" boogyman. Calling it "mental illness" is just a way to shift blame away from systemic issues that need to change.
Secondly, if we are going to blame mental health, where is all the funding for mental health care? We have an extreme shortage of mental health professionals in the US.
From the time that I saw the first person being bullied in school I made sure that I would do everything in my power to make that person comfortable. It may not seem like a lot, but I sure as fuck didn't sit back and say, "laughing about it is all we can do". That is the most ignorant fucking thing I have ever heard. BTW I was poor, way under weight with low self esteem. I was also bullied.
I'm glad you were proactive, but I went to school before the age of school shooters. I'm at an age where making friends with high schoolers is more likely to get me on a watch list than applauded. All I can do now is vote for people who will try to use their power for good, because I have no power in this situation. And I can laugh.
It obviously is an issue of mental illness. I’m old enough to remember when Columbine first happened and it shocked the whole country. Guns were aplenty back then too. Something changed, and maybe it’s some cult around guns and violence, but blaming just the object is really missing the problem.
What has changed is this bully mentality of these younger generations. Just look how they attacked you for a simple comment. How dare you think differently than them...lol
Lol, the US has always had a gun cult, even before the school shooting at Columbine, the kids ,teachers, etc, were shooting, blowing up, etc, one another, hell your own government did it to students, does mental illness need dealing with in this regard? Of course, should MI be blamed exclusively? Fuck no, you have way too many weapons, etc, your ease of access is ridiculously easy, your checks, evaluations, etc are abysmal, your excuses are, 'BaD gUyS.' Your 'problem' is MI, Access, Society.

Better yet, why don't you show me some history of a murderer that didn't have a mental illness. Should be very easy for you. Gand related murders don't count.
Anyone can use Google to satisfy their own narrative. If you think that any sane person commits murder, you are uneducated. The only exception may be gang related murders. There has NEVER been a school shooting by someone that was of sound mind and body. Whether it be someone that was bullied or abused at home.

Did a governor actually say that in the wake of Uvalde?

I had a Swiss Army pocketknife on me every day my senior year of high school, because I didn't show or tell anyone.

I believe the blade retracts into the handle of the knife.
YpsilantiRomani
I think it is offset from the barrel & the blade gose through an m-lok slot

Not with that attitude it won't

I've seen far more complicated devices in guns work, see the G11. Being offset would help.

Mental illness. And not at all an overabundance of weapons.

How many weapons do you have?

Worst part is they are assuming all school showings are done by people with mental issues.
