Had to explain to my therapist about my feelings of being stuck in a warzone as a trans person in a religious US state, and the guilt I feel having those feelings because there are children elsewhere actively being bombed and suffering and I know some of them are like me but suffering further ontop of the suffering that all this hate brings them, and that I am the only one out of my original friendgroup of 20 kids who is still alive at the ripe age of 24. Pretty sure if institutionalizing me rn

wouldn't be a death sentence she probably would have actually called on me because I am definitely an active red flag of suicide risk. I am so tired of being so afraid that the wrong action will get me sent to conversion therapy again.

yeah I am aware, which is one reason why it was brought up in Therapy. That type of guilt is hellish and doesnt care about logic, and it was unfortunately baked into me pretty early on in childhood. We're working on it, it is healing a bit but it takes time.

If it helps, keep doing it. For me, art, writing and therapy helps. Also legos and working on cars. Anything to keep my mind busy with what's in front of me. The mind is a funny thing. Write back if you need to. Even if its just to vent.

I'm here for it, and absolutely there with you. I advertise myself and wear a pride patch to draw the bigots to me. I have no problem dealing with them and have punched my fair share of nazis already. Keep it up.

Fuck yeah brother/sister (as preferred)! I do the same with a button on my backpack. I'm a cishet white guy so really the only buff I'm missing is "rich", I otherwise have about as much privilage as one can have. That makes it WAY safer for me to be outspoken and loudly supportive, and I'd be a real PoS if I knew that and kept quiet anyway.
