Yep. Currently, my only hope to avoid having to handle this with widespread violence (i.e., some sort of civil war) is that the alt-right's ineptitude means they won't have enough time to push past our interference and fully rig future elections by the midterms.

A politician is a fulcrum, a coalition is the stick (lever), you are the person at the end of that stick, and the rock you want to move is the change you want to make. Not voting/voting for a third party removes yourself from any real effort to impact the world positively.
