I know y'all aren't one for sob stories, especially ones that don't involve cancer or dieing pets, but I'm going to post this here to remind myself later that people stink and they hurt.
I broke up with my ex partner almost a year ago which really was a kick to the nads, but it was definitely coming. Since then, I have spent the last several months (while not studying for law school) meeting people, going on dates, hooking up, and generally going through a bit of a hoe phase. Some good experiences and definitely some bad. All in all I have come out alright in this period (just got tested and still negative for everything) but certain nights really grab ya by the low hangers and twist.
Met this one guy through an app prob a month ago, had texted about a week or two, and decided to meet up. Didn't go all the way but had fun, and afterwards really hit it off I felt. We spent alot of time together just hanging out, cuddling, fooling around abit, and talking. We decided tonight would be the night we took it farther. Instead it turned into a conversation at his place about how he doesnt want to use protection (which he didnt want to force me to do). We spend a good while talking things through and together decided to still see where things went because we still were interested in eachother.
I left and went home only to receive a text an hour later saying he felt we shouldnt continue seeing eachother. No explanation, blocked on everything, and here I am just feeling like an idiot. We shared alot about eachother, and I felt like that was ok because he seemed like someone who would respect what I put forward. I was excited that this didn't feel like every other inevitable ghosting that the internet seems to perpetuate.
Alas I was wrong, and once again I feel shitty and stupid. So this is here to remind myself that people hurt, and being vulnerable has just busted my balls. I know this is long, but I don't give a shit. Read it or don't, but if you had some kind words, my poor lil heart would sure appreciate it.
