It’s official - I could have gone on my humanitarian trip to Guatemala and NOT missed pregnant foster mama cat Bobbie giving birth. We always land around 10pm so I would be walking in the door right about now. But she would have spent most of her days alone, with no one to give her a billion cans of wet food doused with water all day long. So it was worth it

I’ve been messaging with Josefina’s daughter, Yasmin (messages translated to English) this whole week. She understands why I couldn’t make it. And she’s very excited about Bobbie’s impending birth! I’ve promised to bring her one of Bobbie’s babies when I go in July haha

She’s such a sweet girl. Her whole family is amazing. I can’t wait to see them in a couple of months!

We’ve been compiling a list of traditional Guatemalan names for Bobbie’s babies. I’m not sure America is ready for some of these pronunciations lol

I got to FaceTime with a few of the Guatemalan villagers this week and it was so good to see and talk to them. And I’m very happy to be home with mama Bobbie. Whenever her babies come, I’ll be here

Kitty Kitty is just fat 😂 he’s still actively working to get her in his house but apparently she’s totally fine being a street cat.

I think the names are lovely. They suit, & it's a nice way to remember your own gift to these kitties & the love you spread to the world <3
