She's a Douglas DC-3
It's the civilian version of the C-47 that dropped troops into Normandy and carried paratroopers through out WWII.
They're on their way to England to participate in commemorative events this coming June
I think it's super important we do all we can to keep this and other warbirds flying as living history.
