I mean, the last episode traumatized my generation. And not in a "end of the world" Dinosaurs type finale but in a very much "what's about to happen oh shit I guess you'll never know" way. Literally, the first thing I thought when I saw this is that we were getting some kind of closure. But no. Just a joke. Goddamnit.

The Christmas episode broke my heart. That was the first sign I think in how dark they wanted the show to be.

There was the Project A.L.F movie that showed what happened after, with Alf being experimented on at a secret US. Air Force base, and manipulating the staff there. It wasn't the best and it didn't have the Tanners (they were placed in witness protection) but I think it gave a little bit of a conclusion to his story.

There have been a series of promotions for a Marvel movie that will come out next year that have the format, "So and so will return in Avengers: Doomsday." So it is funny to pick unrelated characters and propose that they also return in this film.

From what I heard that was mainly because the frontrunner was a bit off his nut and believed that Alf was real. (or at least had everyone go out of there way to not acknowledge that it was a puppet.)
