Same here, Marc, same here.

As much as I hate Trump and His Posse, I agree; the voters who gave them power on purpose are the ones I hate the most. I'll probably never forgive them for what they've done.

only 50 million? you mean less than 1/3 of the US population voted?

Love you, Marc!

Which set is this from?

I wish Greg Giraldo was still alive. The things he'd have to say about the current state of the us would be hilarious.

A great man.

Is this the guy from that 80s wrestling show? GLOW? Damn that was a good show. Thanks for cancelling it, Netflix

And don't forget the ones REALLY to blame for Trump being elected president...the democrats who were upset with the democratic choice and chose NOT to vote at all...Trump didn't win by a landslide, he didn't win with a majority of voters...he won because a large group of democrats chose NOT to vote....this is the only reason! I mean, republicans are republicans...you can't blame them for voting...but you CAN blame those democrats who CHOSE NOT to vote...this is all on them and them alone!

They share responsibility for this but if it comes to who will be more directly dangerous later the MAGAts are actively trying to ruin the world and wipe out their enemies. The moronic "genocide joe" protest no vote Democrats are more likely to not get off the couch than show up to their shift to work the ovens.

he was really good as Mr. Snake in the Bad Guys movies.

About as accurate of a summary as you'll ever find.

1 month ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 0

Yeah, but the vast majority wasn't laugh worthy. Actually I don't know why any of that was funny. True? Yes. I guess there's no accounting for taste.

If only that had clued people in to who he was. Sadly, lots are completely blind to his fascism.

1 month ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

No, they were not.

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The problem is they don’t *want* to believe it because it means admitting they were fooled. So when Fox News tells them, “Trump’s not a fascist, the ones calling him fascist are the REAL fascists!” They accept that, because it’s easier than admitting they were dumb. Which in turn makes the next terrible lie easier to believe too.

They are fascist, they just don't realize it !

Not crazy that he threw in "autistic" as a negative descriptor, but the rest was spot on

1 month ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 7

the amount of abled self-professed "progressives" who would freely throw neurodivergent and otherwise disabled people under the bus the first chance they get is deeply sobering. it's not just a "moderate" problem either, it's a bit of an in-joke that anarchists get pissy when you ask them how disabled people would benefit from an anarchist society.

1 month ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 6

we as a collective humanity will not be free until ALL marginalized people are free, and that includes the disabled.

1 month ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 6

That may be because some of Elmo's fan boys defended his nazi salute with it was a Roman salute and something something bot fair to criticize him cause of autism. At the time everyone railed on that BS, comedians even did bits mocking the defense as being shitty for defending nazi's and pretending being autistic makes it cool cause other people just didn't understand what he was doing.

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I didn't read it that way, not all of the descriptors were negative. Jewish, techno, autistic, etc.

1 month ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

The Jewish part works because it's followed with "Nazi," why is "autistic" supposed to be funny? Why say that at all?

Saw Marc Maron perform about a year ago, he was hilarious.

I was supposed to see him the winter of last year and I had something come up. He's one of my bucket list comedians to see live.

Thank for his name, this is the first time seeing him, I'll see if I can find more of his work.

I really liked his first show Maron, probably the best place to start. Glow was also excellent

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I agree with every single thing he said in this clip but I don't think it's funny. he's just providing a description.

1 month ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 18

Honestly, I also don't enjoy this style of stand up, but it's kind of silly to come to a post just to claim it's not for you.

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I can understand

1 month ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Feel free to point out the jokes. I don't see/hear them.

1 month ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 4

Didn't say there were.
Also not explaining comedy to wet-blanket randos. Cultivate some joy in your life.

How is noting that the clip isn't funny to me being a wet blanket? It's like acknowledging that "Don't Look Up" is fucking terrifying. I didn't say Maron isn't funny, just that this clip is just him describing where we are, in a slightly snarky tone.
