It was called Dead Rising and I thought it was incredible but of course people bitched.

Had the same feeling when finding that one guy’s lost birds in Spiderman while Mary Jane and Miles were in that burning building

Garlic farmer? Is that a reference to epic npc man?

Hello adventurer and welcome to the town of honeywood!

FFXV during the "time jump". "The fabric of reality is literally crumbling, do you want to visit a vendor?"

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Tt's why I stopped playing: it got set up as some urgent Save The World thing, yet the blonde guy wouldn't shut up about riding a chocobo.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

It was a fun game, it's just that a lot of the plot was dumb.

And the main characters’ personalities felt like knockoffs of the Ninja Turtles.

LOL, now that you mention it...

Favorite one recently is in the Nier remake. Collect 10 Wolf Pelts to get his wife to forgive him for cheating. What a rascal

+1 for Epic NPC man!

Maybe she took off with Bodger. I don't know we never see her.

Nah it’s the crying npc before his wife burned to death

Eugine is both the most beautiful and most annoying character in the game

Looks like Guatemala, Fuego right?

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I was thinking the same thing

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Key to best gameplay experience is understanding the flow of time. The villain will wait, usually. Bioware has burned me before.

Try playing Majora's Mask on the N64, the timeline is messed up.

Try Outward, there's a running clock, got a quest a village was gonna be attacked, went back later and couldn;t get in, it was destroyed lol

5 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

I honestly would love that game if there wasn’t so much dang slow walking

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

yeaaa those travel times oof

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

How did you deal with it? It just made me want to do nothing but get the merchant armor or whatever for speed

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

that was my solution lol

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Aye I have no problem if it's clearly signposted (and can increase replayability) but anything missable time-wise needs to be very obvious.

5 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Disagree. BACK IN MY DAY, that's how it was. You didn't talk to this NPC on your first visit to the village? Now they're gone forever. I >

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

If you want to play a game that punishes your every decision there are many to cater for that, but ME2 was not set up as that style of 1/2

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

game. My objection is not just about it being punishing, but about it being dramatically our of keeping with the rest of the game. 2/2

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

>know I'm a boomer now, but I also believe we lost something with auto saves before every boss. It's just not the same if you aren't >

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

>hacking and slashing your way through the dungeon, not having saved in 4 hours, oblivious the game is about to punish you for your hubris.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

While I fully disagree with the sentiment about autosave, you should try rouge likes then or something like Sekiro

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

We didn't 'lose' anything, we created a different way to play. One that most players find less stressful and more fun. The idea that a 1/2

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

game should punish everyone for hubris is ridiculous, it's a hobby most people do for enjoyment, and most people hate that kind of thing.2/2

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That pissed me off so much. Here I am exploring ND having fun. Now I have this huge monument with dead people all over it - _-

5 years ago | Likes 80 Dislikes 0

Which game are you talking about?

5 years ago | Likes 60 Dislikes 0

.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

ME2 after you collect the Reaper IFF your crew gets abducted. If you don't go straight after them a few die, leave it a while all but one die

5 years ago | Likes 69 Dislikes 0

There really should have been a "No going back" kinda deal before doing that mission. Like i was just doing missions based on location

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

When I realized that it was really based on how long I took to do the mission I was devastated. It was a good mechanic to get replays up.

5 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

From an in-universe perspective it makes a lot of sense but it should have been made clearer to the player.

5 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

I'm the type that only plays the storyline when there is nothing else I can do. Once I finish a game, I lose interest in it. It took me 3 >

5 years ago | Likes 42 Dislikes 1

You'd be fine in ME2 then as you'd have finished the side missions before getting the IFF (which is normally how I play too)

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Months to finally finish all side quests in skyrim

5 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 1

But can i leave it long enough for allof them to die?

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Dr Chakwas always survives till you arrive, but you can refuse to have anyone escort her back to the ship, in which case she dies too.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yo. Thank you. I just started the series yesterday, and I will be grateful for this in the future.

5 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Look up the flow chart when you get to that point. Trust me

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

When you get to "collect the Reaper IFF" you stop right there and finish everything ELSE up. Go no further.
