Torn off chunks of bread > sliced bread. Change my mind.

It depends on the objective , to make a sandwich? Strongly disagree. To eat some fresh bread with butter ? I agree!

I see steps 1, 2, 3 and 4....But after the blade slices it, how do you get it out? I tried using one at my local store for the first time and for the life of me, I couldn't figure it out! I just reached in and grabbed handfuls of sliced bread and shoved it into the bread bag haphazardly....it was a mess when I got home!~

Just in case it helps the next time:

You grab the sliced bread, one hand on each end and put it on top of the small tray shown here (on the left of the place where it gets sliced).

There are probably paper bags nearby, grab one, open it and use it so both the bread and the tray are inside.

Slide the bread with the bag towards you so the tray gets out and that's it.
