Trump's whole cabinet has lied to congress.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

the pig in chief lies to them every time he talks to them and he raped little girls

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You call for that do ya? How? Posting on an image site? How about you call for that "for real"? Imgur is not the place to make a change. Look to real life solutions. Your Internet outrage is seconds long. Gone..

I don't think Andy Borowitz is @OP. But, if you're that dissatisfied with his words, his contact info is probably on The Borowitz Report's website somewhere.

Go on, tell him how you feel. Or, you know, tell an image site that is reporting his words secondhand how you feel. Yeah, that's probably easier.

An indictment is very far from a conviction. In the best of times, it only means there is probable cause, and the Trump "Justice" department has been perfectly happy to deceive grand juries, in means almost nothing.

We needed an Elliott Ness we got milk toast.

I wonder if he is going to cry...
Again....

My dad used to call it crocodile tears. All sad until it eats you when you fall for it

The lying to congress thing fell apart. The latest one is them trying to say he threatened Trump by taking a picture of seashells arranged to say "8647".

However the best thing about Trump vindictively pursuing Comey is that I don't have to care about the eventual outcome because Comey is a piece of shit who was at least partly responsible for Trump's 2016 win.

The neocons got cucked out of their party by the Epstein class mafia, it would be funny if it weren’t so dangerous

2 months ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Consequences any day now.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You forgot about literally everyone in the trump administration

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Honestly, I feel like being called before congress should be the end of the road and something reserved for extreme F Ups. The more you try to hide or claim you can't recall or don't remember or don't know... the more penalties you and your company should rack up. And if it turns out you were lying, straight to jail. Don't pass go. Don't collect 200 dollars. No statute of limitations. Play stupid games, walk out with hundreds of millions in fines.

Didn't Amy Coney Barret swear under oath that she would not fuck with Roe?

Ffs there is a character limit on this site that we could max out 10x over for this administration. That's just the Executive Branch, goodness knows how many others have committed serious crimes

Dig? Nahh. Pray? For this?? You betcha.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not entirely sure what to get Thomas on. I vaguely remember his confirmation hearing but he really hasn't been anything but what he's been.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He's blatantly taken bribes as a supreme court justice, bare minimum. Plus the issues that came up during his initial recommendation and confirmation.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's a different thing than lying to Congress, which I can only assume they are implying his confirmation hearing like Brett Kavanaugh (and the other Trump nominees) who all said they would adhere to precedent when it came to things like abortion.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

IIRC during his confirmation hearing there was allegations of sexual harassment? I'll be honest, I am far too lazy to look it up but there was a woman with allegations against him. Uh. Anita Hill, IIRC.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes. There was that. And it sucked for her because it was still not taken as seriously. My point though was just to the 'lying to Congress' thing.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

These guys will go down eventually.

2 months ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 6

Strongly doubt it but I'm willing to be surprised

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Too many people are relying on that and just waiting. Until they're gone, they're still in power and still must be stopped.

2 months ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 1

Let's be real, this is like marvel shit. Hydra. Is trump. Nazis. Like idk how it can be any clearer. Yeah let's take over everything and kill everyone. Cool beans .

It's 5 shots, 5 guillotines, 5 times more of Us

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Let them eat cake.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

No they won't. Our country is too corrupt. If you have money in the US, there are no laws.

2 months ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Fascist regimes ALWAYS fail. Always. If not from without, then from within (which can bring the nation down with it if they do enough damage in the process). But they WILL fall. Their system is unsustainable. If they run out of enemies, they will make more, from the least popular within their group. Because they NEED "enemies" to control the people.

Also, they can't ACTUALLY make money out of nothing. All this money they're allocating, driving up the national debt, is coming from existing

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

government programs - the largest holder of the national debt is the Social Security Administration, and has been since before Trump was elected the first time. Between those programs and loans from foreign nations, every dollar of our national debt came from *somewhere*.

And that supply is not infinite. The crash will come HARD. Of course, *we'll* be out of the picture before then; by the time this hits the rich, the poor will have been thoroughly wrung dry.

So, by every metric, their system

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

is doomed to collapse. Even if we can't bring it down. Even if other nations steer clear of this mess. They'll eat themselves.

Every fascist regime falls, and the world keeps turning.

I hope it doesn't come to that extreme measure. I hope *we're* still here when they go down. But whether we do or not, @Edgarflaps is right in the original comment.

The American people will be completely destitute because of them before any other country will help the people of this nation

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Y'ain't wrong. Some of us already are. And, although I'm on shaky ground, I know I am *not* one of them - I may have to eat on a budget, but I can get my groceries and feed myself. I may need a ride to the grocery store (no car of my own) but the fact that I have a reliable contact for such is another sign that I haven't (yet) joined the ranks of the truly destitute..

But a lot of people are, and I don't have to be one of them to see that's a horrid failure of our society.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This is what non-Americans don't get. We have almost zero social supports, so no, we can't take the day off and protest what we don't like, and if you get any sort of criminal record from protesting, your chances of losing your job and not being able to find another one are high

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh no, poor Comey.

Maybe you should have stood up against the fascists years ago.

2 months ago | Likes 119 Dislikes 2

Why don't you come here and show us how. Our system is set up so if you resist, you die or live the rest of your life working for pennies for the corporations in prison. Germany itself didn't stop the Nazis.

2 months ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 56

He helped trump get elected the first time by announcing that they found more documents on a Clinton laptop that turned out to be nothing but did it right before the election. Stop being an idiot

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Comey as the head of the FBI didn't do anything about the foreign election interference. He could have prevented this.

2 months ago | Likes 62 Dislikes 0

And he actively torpedoed Hillary by announcing one week before the election, that he'd have to start investigations about her.

2 months ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 0

He's pretty much responsible for trump getting elected the first time while doing nothing to stop him the second time

2 months ago | Likes 40 Dislikes 0

He probably couldn't have done anything the second time, being years out of power and a pariah, but he deliberately got Trump elected in 2016 and should have been jailed for election interference in October 2016. I plan to piss on his grave.

2 months ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

Maybe not blaring out in public as head of the FBI one week before the election, that he needs to start investigations into Hillary's "buttery males", while being silent about something similar being true for Trump would be a nice start, no? Without the need of any blazing guns and going down in a hail of bullets, but just doing his job in a proper manner?

2 months ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

You don't want to use Germany as an example, because i can assure you once they were digging their childrens mangled corpses out of the rubble of virtually every major city, they very much wished they had stopped the Nazis themselves.

Once you make your problem our problem you lose your say in how its resolved because our duty is to our own, not to those who endangered them.

2 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Sadly most officials (us) at the time said denazification mostly failed

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

German here, I second this. Don't ask us to solve your fascism problem. Because either can we nor are we obliged to solve it for you. We're solving it for ourselves. Which revolves mostly around diversifying our economic relationships and safeguarding against economic warfare and straregic blackmail from the US. This doesn't amount to regime change. You may still be sruck with a fascist government, just more isolated.

The US is a nuclear power and the biggest military power in the world. There>

2 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

is no cavalry coming to the rescue. And we won't sink our own economies to the bottom of the mariana trench by immediately cutting all ties unless something really fucking drastic comes our way from that side of the Atlantic.
