Okay so 2020 has sucked obviously. I’m a huge extrovert so I’ve lost most forms of stress relief, and they only offer this test twice a year with the first bout in April (that was obviously cancelled). After 4.5 years of school, 4.5 years of working experience, a solid 5 months of studying and 2 brutal months of waiting for results, I found out that I passed today!

I'm in PA. Yup, I think it ended up being almost $800 at least for everything to get mine: testing fees, application fees, etc.

Take a break & try it again. Not many people passed the first try. I have to try a few times to get mine. In CA you have to take 3 exams

I received a 17% raise 2 months ago which is very high for water/wastewater but the P.E. pushes the ceiling higher and opens more doors.

I'm a petroleum engineer and our professors never advocated for the PE unless you wanted to be a consultant
