Looking to glue down cheap carpet
Walls are plywood. Is it possible to puddy in cracks and paint?
Thinking of putting up a dummy wall so the room looks consistent. Wood frame with drywall.

Caulk the cracks and holes. Paint it in 2 of decent Brilliant White. Underlay and grip-strip the carpet... nice blank canvas space.

I saw on YouTube rhe guy used a double sided tape, is this what you are talking about?
mikenco
Yep. Ask in the carpet shop about it. It's not normal tape, this stuff is super tough and really sticky. You won't trash your floor.

Then a desk. A sofa bed. Soft furnishings.. wall neon . Sweet office/den.
mikenco
My office/den is neutral coloured so the led ribbon lights can control the mood via remote controls. All cheaply done too.

Don't glue the carpet down. You might live to regret it.
