1) it is actually very funny; 2) the joke isn't that old, just the film it's referencing; 3) the same thing happened in the 2006 remake so it's at most referencing a 20 year old film.
According to a reporter: If you like persons moving through doors, Car, Airplane, House. Then yes. Half of the movie are boring cuttscenes "Melania" entering or leaving.
The Omen (1976) was a good movie. I don't think it was scary, but none of those religious horror movies really are. I think it does a great job of (mostly) maintaining the ambiguity of whether the situation is truly supernatural or psychological responses along with the actions of a cult who believe in it.
Religious horror movies are always the same thing; someone's possessed, an inanimate object is possessed, or its Satan's baby. The only one that ever stood out to me was End of Days and that was technically an action thriller
Religious horror movies are terrifying because people actually believe in religion. And I mean BELIEVE. It's not about the 'evil thing'. It's that nutjobs will do literally anything and BELIEVE it's right because "God"
I dont think I can handle that movie. That girl deserves to have her name and story shouted at the world but goddamn if it doesnt break my heart and fuel my hatred of those genocidal fucks
