"The Final Season!" Ominous

Okay, but andromeda actually slaps. I recently began a rewatch of it; though, I'll admit that the show is carried by the whole cast not just kevin sorbo.

Don't worry! In the USA Christian Nationalism is tax deductible! Donate Now!

The dementd Cheeto Lie-Atollah, rapist-in-chief and Presidunce of South Canada ripping off another war is peak cringe and even in his low standards one of the dumbest things he ever did. Remove the moron now! #OP Great performance!

That's one hell of a curse.

We live in Interesting times, but I was really taken aback by just how fucking interesting the times would be. Interesting like poking a dead body with a stick and getting a nervous twitch out of it...

God how I wish I could just delete him from Andromeda.

I love that series and I love all the other actors in it, but he makes it unbearable now i know what hes like.

Sorbet made it unbearable when he took the full reins in season... 3 I think it was? Where his character became Literal Space Jesus

4.

Although there were space jesus vibes in 3 too, but 4 is where it REALLY went off the rails.

This was so amazing, but i had to stop the video like 20 times cuz it was just going waaaay too fast (not a native speaker(

I couldn't use sound and yeah, it was just jumping around all over the place

As a native speaker I didn't catch as much as I should. Part of it is I kept thinking about Donald Gibb. Or after least how much that guy reminded me of his character in Bloodsport

I first thought it was a “thicky thicky-dumb dumb” knock off.

All Canada wants is its own sovereignty and not to be economically destroyed, but I guess thats too much to ask as an ally. Trump wants as

many Canadian businesses and lives destroyed as American, sadly. Were all going to suffer and no good deed goes unpunished for us all.

I've seen this storyline before. Unpopular US President creates war with Canada to boost his polls.

Argentina pretty much did the same with the Falklands.

Truly a funny movie if you haven't seen it. My favorite scene: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jyO1ILQAGsU

I am seriously wondering if Trump got the idea from this movie.

Americans have already very openly said they won’t riot against this. Someone could die to save everyone!

Violence is thirst quenching, but too unpredictable. It would also be impossible to organise across a country so vast and is just as likely to introduce corruption as it is to stop it.

However - the American people do have more power than they realise. Downing tools in protest would be risky, but more likely to result in a positive outcome. A mass strike. Still difficult to organise but more people will be willing to join a protest than a hit squad or revolutionary militia.

Only impossible if people like you keep believing it is.

It is interesting that the country who worships their own "revolution" to an almost religious degree also are exceptionally freaked out about the concept of protesting against their own government in modern times.

It's the right-wing that worships American fairy tales, and they've never been honest about anything they've said in the last 50 years. What they really like is the idea of shooting people who want them to pay taxes.

They continuously lament that it’s impossible to bring a protest to the house of government, except that’s exactly what happened in J6th. It’s not like the MAGATs all lived exclusively in DC. Left-wing Americans would rather sit idly by and let fascists take over their country than inconvenience themselves by doing anything.

It's more that the left wing just doesn't fucking exist here in the states. Our population is almost entirely center-right neolibs or far-right fascist. Those who are left wing are so few and far between that organizing is practically impossible, not to mention most of who would be left wing are kept poor and destitute while those right wing chuds had disposable income to allow them to travel in order to participate.

And yet I always hear about how NY and LA are bastions of both left-wing thinking AND the major economic powerhouses of the US while right-wing Americans are all backwater hicks. How many people actually showed up on J6? A couple thousand? You’re telling me there aren’t that many people with enough disposable income between all of NY and California to be able to stage a protest at thw White House?

Americans are self-interested cowards. We are not going to see society there take to the streets or demand accountability. I've heard all the excuses. But Ukraine showed us with the Maidan protests how it is done. Americans just lack the spine.
