If you can't spell sophomore, you should probably repeat middle school.

No later than your 23rd birthday, you'll look back on this post and think, "fuck. I was so fucking wrong."

10 years ago | Likes 80 Dislikes 0

You give them so much credit. I'd say first round of finals.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

This should be for college and the last pic should be a grad student

10 years ago | Likes 56 Dislikes 22

Don't you mean uphill?

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Easiest yeah, but IMO college was way more rewarding

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

unless you're a dumbass with a random major its the opposite.

10 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 5

Numbers, man. Numbers make sense.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

High school was rough. Kids struggling with all kinds of garbage most adults have forgotten about by the time they're in their late 20s.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

High school was rough? Were you one of those kids that took 3 AP classes?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Actually only 1 AP class, but I meant more about social interaction between kids and limited freedoms compared to adults.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think you have it backwards.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I fined that the cycle repeats at lest 2 more times. One for college then again in your first grownup job/ career.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Can anybody please give me advice (or recipes) to help survive a 7 hour block of engineering courses? I don't think my fruit bars can help.

If you think high school is rough... Well. You got another 60 years ahead of you. Good luck.

Korra (the person) sucks. Worst Avatar ever

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

Yes, what a bad avatar she was for stopping all those villains.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

My point is that SHE as a person sucks. That part is what helps make her the worst Avatar.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I can't help but feel as though I'm being watched and whenever i think/do/watch something the Internet is always one step ahead of me. (1

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I decided to rewatch avatar: the last airbender and a ton of avatar posts make it to front page (I'm not complaining) so now i start (2

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The legend of korra and to my amazement soon after opening imgur i find a korra post. I am starting to get paranoid <_<... >_>..

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

*Private eyes, they're watching you!* clap clap *They see your eeevryyy mooove*

In Canada we go by grade 9, 10, 11, 12

10 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 2

Hell........I don't even know anyone that has their grade 10

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

The weird thing is that in America you can still say you're in any of those and people understand, we just also decided to have arbitrary-

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

-names for each grade alongside the numbers

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

In the US we use either the grade numbers or the title, seemingly at random most of the time.

10 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Depends on where. Here in Alberta, high school is 10-11-12.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

We say all of them in the us

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Here, In France, it's Second, First and Terminale. Middle school is Sixth, Fifth, fourth and Third. Yes, in that order.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Which is why I always find it funny that Quebec's private French schools try to emulate this model. Canada ranks higher than France by a 1/2

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

quite a lot when it comes to our educational practices, so to try to emulate France just because it's French-speaking is moronic. 2/2

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's maybe true, but i think the real problem is we have 3 years of highschool and you have 4. How can they emulate?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

High School for us is considered grades 7-11. We then have cegep (12-13) before university. Lycee is 10-12 among private schools. It's odd.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Same in the US it's interchangeable

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Same in Aus. Maybe it's a Commonwealth thing, to use a system that makes sense.

10 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 2

Which is ironic, what with Brexit and all. Clearly we colonials are the smarter ones, even if we do choose to live Coldland and Nopeland.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Nope, we also got that in Germany.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

To be fair, Germany's not part of the Commonwealth.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Yes, that's why I felt the need to point out that we use a system that makes sense.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

College student shouldn't be smiling

10 years ago | Likes 426 Dislikes 10

He might be smiling, but he is also dead.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

It's one of those "I'm just going to smile until my life crumbles" types of smiles.

10 years ago | Likes 226 Dislikes 0

*College Freshman?

10 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 1

Was gonna say that

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Imagine he's smiling because those are actually bottles of adderall in his hands

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I got real bad news if you thought college was hard.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Lol you must have been and art student.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

He's not happy smiling. He's "I'm on the verge of insanity" smiling.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's from the perspective of a junior

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Must be business major

10 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

Sure he should. Fake it til you make it, bro.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Its to cover up the crippling pain and existential dread

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

he's got free food... he should be crying tears of happiness

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Transvestite transformation is accurate though.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

The reason he is, is because he's dead.......

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Depends on where you go, I'm almost done and had a blast doing it.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What did you study?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Machining and fabrication

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Is that a 4 year BS?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh that's not happiness

10 years ago | Likes 47 Dislikes 0

That's caffeine

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Might be an art student. Or a business student, they're all pretty happy.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Honestly freshman/sophomore year of college were some of the most fun and carefree times of my life. Grad school is were things get rough.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

*where

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It was fun but it was also really hard. My high school math was way behind freshman level calculus

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Depends if you're a whiny imgur college student or a regular one. The regular ones run a gamut of emotions.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And at some point you just survive with coffe between lectures and labs.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

In college. Not high-school

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

So question. How should I survive a 7 hour block of classes? Any suggestions on good filling snacks or drinks that aren't coffee or RedBull?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

7h? That's like in middle school. Bread?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah, middle school had an hour for lunch. I mean 7 hours of classes. Physics 2 to Circuit Theory to Diff Eq to Diff Eq GE. 11-6.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Student? Engineering? My classes are kinda the same if you throw Dynamic Systems and controlling in the mix. 8-7 but we get 1h lunch break.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

EE Student. I had a break, but my Diff Eq GE didn't have enough students so they cancelled and threw me into the one 2 hours before mine.
