Nearly 20 years in retail, I’d say 90% of the thefts I seen people had the money to pay, the rare times we stopped people with food we would often buy the food for them. What I do know is those are just the times she was caught, you keep doing it til your busted or in her case even as an adult. As for the dogs in the car, she’s clearly a fucking monster and shouldn’t be around kids.

The "leaving dogs in hot car" sounds bad. I would still like some more context than "That has happened at some point the past" before caring, on international site, about a local school board candidate. I know people who've forgotten their children into a mall but aren't bad people. The shoplifting part... Seeing how much Imgur loves to upvote "Remember, if you see someone shoplift: No you didn't" kind of comments I feel like taking that into account feels a bit selective.

I don't see many comments about the shoplifting and the context for that meme is more about necessities not people stealing PS5s but the context for leaving dogs in a hot car, no one is saying she's a bad person but this strikes me as a person who doesn't consider leaving a dog in a hot car a bad thing. and based on someones response she clearly thought the shoplifting clothing wasn't an issue either. its a much larger entitled attitude.

I'll probably get downvoted to oblivion for questioning this, but it really feels odd to see a picture with *zero* info other than "Somewhere in the USA, a school board candidate, has at some point in their life, for some reason and in some situation we know nothing about, left 2 dogs in a hot car" and expectation to be outraged about it. I tried to check the link, but all the info behind this is behind a paywall. So I assume basically nobody here has any more info than that either.
