It's not exactly an industrial process but you may want to look at pumped-storage hydroelectricity. It hasn't been rolled out intensively but it works by using the energy surplus from things like solar and wind to pump water into a reservoir and then releasing it through generators during lulls (generally nighttime hours).

This is one of those ones I would love to know how the fuck we got here. Like yeah contractions often use apostrophes but many don't. But pretty much every other possessive uses the apostrophe. And then we somehow got this one reversed.

Short answer: Many moons ago, it without an S was used as a possessive. Later, the 's was added, but when 'tis fell out of favor and was replaced with it's, people started using its for the possessive form.

Sadly the US may soon be issuing statements like that. Hopefully the ability to steer hurricanes translates into skill for containing nuclear catastrophe in the face of deregulation. AI power needs will be the death of us all, poisoning our water and air while racing to nuclear disaster. Dont take this as anti-nuclear, cause im highly for it. Im against rushing it at a time everything is being deregulated. Nobody wants 15 3-mile Islands across the country.

The only saving grace of the deregulation is that the next president could sign an executive order to counter trumps. So hopefully they won't spend a lot of money trying to do thing too cheaply. If there is a possibility in four years they could just have to redo everything.

3 Mile Island was safely, it released neglible amounts of radioactivity that has had no causal relation to health effects in the area. Meanwhile coal plants release hundreds of times more radiation. The only reason it scares people is propaganda.

Also, we need to deploy reactors like France did: One design requiring one set of trained technicians with a standardized set of maintenance equipment, not a hodgepodge of techbro designs that need different setups for each one.
