In the flys defense it likely didn’t know the car was going to Kansas. I’d say the bigger idiot is the person who intentionally went to Kansas.

I feel sad that they are being taken away from their families.

Sixth generation Kansan here, would agree; that fly made the worst decision of his life.

I've had to drive across Kansas around 10 times over the last year. It only gets more boring.

You gotta pay attention to the horizon to the north or south. It ain't so bad. Until Colby. Then it just sucks balls all the way to Denver.

Somehow this comment amuses me.

Well it's not untrue. It just sucks ass here a little at the moment, but we're working through it.

"He was from one of those places is only good to be from" is a bit of a cliche if that's what you're looking for.

Benefit of being from KS: when you’re in a big city & see a total stranger w/ a KS shirt on you feel safe approaching them for directions.

Downside same coin: being in a major city and you cannot stop nodding and saying hello. People think you're insane.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Come to Louisiana. All challengers accepted and we need the revenue. Bonus: my kid’s name is Dorothy, so...

Tennessee, probably

Kansas has cheap living and 4 seasons. No hurricanes/mudslides/earthquakes/wildfires. I'd say that we have it pretty good here.

Only if you are dumb enough to live in areas prone to them.

We also have google fiber in the civilized areas!

Live in Wichita, we have had earthquakes.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

But to be fair these quakes have been harmless. Except a couple those god damned okies sent up, the sons of bitches.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

But no frequent high magnitudes.
