Do you have a suggestion for another 40k group/faction/individual that you'd like to see that isn't on the list? Leave a suggestion. One per person, please.

Explanation: Zahndrekh is a Necron Overlord and Nemesor of the Sautekh Dynasty who was once counted amongst the greatest generals of the lost Necrontyr empire. It was through his campaigns of conquest that his Tomb World of Gidrim rose from a small and insignificant planet on the fringes of the galaxy to become the iron-handed ruler of a dozen star systems.

Obyron is a Necron Lychguard who serves as the "vargard," or primary protector and bodyguard, of Nemesor Zahndrekh, the Necron Overlord of the crownworld of Gidrim of the Sautekh Dynasty.
Having served with Zahndrekh since his first campaigns when they were still Necrontyr, Obyron is devoted to the execution of his duties, and is the primary reason why Zahndrekh is still alive to this day.

Fun Fact: Zahndrekh was born into elite echelon of nobility. He had attended one of the Necrontyr's most celebrated military academies, where he met his close confidant and rival Setekh. It was there that he spent what he considers the best days of his life. After winning his commission, he was given an army and sent off to fight separatists in Yama during the Wars of Secession. Varguard Obyron, already a veteran, was assigned to him during this time. As a reward for his triumph in Yama, he was given the world of Gidrim.

Probably my favourite character in 40k

You left out the best part about Zahndrekh which is that he's absolutely insane. After he got put in a robot body and sent to sleep for millions of years, he still thinks he and his fellow Necrons are actually flesh and blood Necrontyr. He even sees the other races as odd looking Necrotyr, making him possibly the most friendly necron in the galaxy.

Not hard to be first when the population is down to about 0.000001% of what it once was... :/

In my defense, I see a therapist but my life is still garbage and my country has become a dictatorship

Ah, Necrons. Makes me nostalgic. My friends and I used to play DoW it was, I think, in college, and I played Necrons. I am shit at games, so they would usually give cut me some slack and don't pay much attention to me, letting me just advance freely, knowing full well they could demolish me in one go whenever they wanted to. And I would use that time to build a shit ton of redundant buildings, because iirc that didn't require much resources for Necrons. /1

And I would just covering HUGE swaths of land in them, with little to no space between them for larger units to move through, effectively creating a nigh impenetrable border around myself. And then when inevitable one of my better-playing friends would kill all the rest, he would come for me, and it was always a "UGH COME ON! You've built a fucking MANHATTAN around you AGAIN!", and he'd have to crawl thought it, destroying buildings one by one, and we'd all laugh our asses off... /2

At this, admittedly, stupid but kinda working strategy - "kinda", because at the end of the day I'd be destroyed anyway, it just prolonged the inevitable. But it prolonged it good! One time I made a wall so thick that it gave me time to get my whole base up and move it away, while my friend was trudging through the "Manhattan". I kept running away from him, building more and more towers behind me as I did, for a long time. As he kept chasing me, demanding I "give him the pitched battle". /3
