Thank you. I knew it had to be a metal strut to support her but couldn’t figure out how her centre of mass didn’t still cause her to fall over. I see the fake grass now.
And they fucking cancelled it! Ugh, I can’t stand how quick the streaming services are to bail on solid shows just because it didn’t get just the right amount of exposure.
So back in the day, Indian yogis would use these types of tricks to get villagers to think them connected to some sort of supernatural powers. It was a very profitable trick. So recently there was an Indian atheist that started traveling around and debunking this "power". He got so many death threats that he had to go into hiding.
Being forced to live in India is one of my biggest nightmares. At the same time, it shows me what the U.S. will be like if the rich people continue to run our country into the ground and see the "poor" as ATMs.
Xu Xiaodong. A Chinese man that challenges fraudulent martial arts masters to fights. He's suffered a lot of repercussions for it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xu_Xiaodong
Not sure if you're trying to say the guy I'm talking about is Chinese, because he isn't. But yeah, each area has someone debunking religious traditions- which gives me hope for the future.
and someone filming you and the person as you walk by.. and you're a staged reaction actor that's trying to give your best fake reaction, but you're a crappy actor and make it look fake as hell
I imagine if they do, they expect they aren't the subject of the filming. They probably think it's a trick and the person doing the trick is being filmed, and they're trying to figure out what the trick is while they're walking by.
if it's a person with a phone then it's just so standard for people to be filming all over the place that it doesn't register much. Regardless of the camera, people are still generally curious of something that catches them off guard
Exactly. Or like when someone says, "Why was this being recorded?🤔🤔" Some is scripted, yes, but also because loads of stuff is being recorded everywhere all the time now. If only 0.01% of it was entertaining or interesting, that'd still be an enormous amount of content.
It's kind of strange how the number of UFO, Yeti, Bigfoot, ghost, saint and similar sightings have gone down as the number of quality cameras in the hands of people at all times have increased.
I can't help but think about the Futurama episode featuring Bigfoot, sort of. "Why don't you just set up, like, a billion video cameras in the woods and see if he walks by one." | "Ah, that would be very expensive, and most people who believe in Bigfoot are broke." And here we are, well ahead of the year 3000, with billions of video cameras.
JJohnston94
Now stand up and take a step with your right foot. Better yet, I'm just going to help myself to this stroller, which doesn't have a baby in it. 👌

They have all seen this trick before. They are just shocked to not see a busker tip jar.

Hmm yeah. I was thinking maybe baby stroller being a counter weight but that grass do be looking suspicious
SaltyAndBitter
Looks like a circular platform with fake grass. The grass color is slightly different and uses dead grass to hide the edges.
CarInAVet
She moves the stroller at one point. She never moves her right foot though.
eetsumkaus
pretty sure it's a pole into the ground from her right leg. It's the same concept as Michael Jackson's anti-gravity lean in Smooth Criminal

Yeah, so same concept. With a bigger setup though, you don't need to have quite as much core strength.

It's only impressive if she can walk away from that spot.

Right leg has the brace, connected to something under that grass-mat.
HeadJamistan
I think the counterweight is the stroller.

Do the people not see the camera, either? Like.. Jeebs.

ALWAYS ask yourself, who is filming and why were they already filming at the start. Works wonders.

I imagine if they do, they expect they aren't the subject of the filming. They probably think it's a trick and the person doing the trick is being filmed, and they're trying to figure out what the trick is while they're walking by.
