Disney eliminated over 30 years of prior canon simply by fiat just so they give movies to people who don't understand or respect the source material and be able to tell fans "but that's not canon, see? we even said so here" So I don't really care what Disney considered canon. Revan is canon and always has been
But then they'd also have to canonize Vitiate, which then means Old Republic. I'd rather Disney continue ignoring Old Republic. I don't want their filthy mitts anywhere near it.
