Agree "everyone has..." and I never said she had none. I disagree you need to find the same things funny. My ex-gf's sense of humor was different from mine which I appreciated because I never saw her jokes/humor coming which was refreshing. It helped me see things differently to be around her because, although we were similar, we were different enough to be interesting to each other and grow together. Some people need similarity because they don't enjoy different views as much as we did.

Can work either way - similar or dissimilar. Neither way is better but my point is you don't have to enjoy the same things to enjoy each other if you're a rather "open minded" or at least emotionally adventurous person. It's all good.

Sometimes it's not the subject matter, but the way that the jokes are framed. Some people are so naturally deadpan that it doesn't even register as a joke. Listeners take what they say at face value. Back in the day a lot of people thought Norm MacDonald had no sense of humor, because they didn't get what his routine even was. Was Norm wrong or was the audience wrong? Neither, I think. Just the wrong act for the wrong audience, which ironically made it even funnier to the 'right' audience.

It should be. But sometimes when you share a human characteristic with some oppressive part of the human race (in this case male gender), it's best to just STFU .. or if you just MUST attempt moral validation or cathartic release, the next wisest thing you can do is laugh at yourself and others who share that characteristic. Don't worry. There's plenty of karma to go around.

Wow. I think it's time for me to take a break when people start accusing me of hating my own gender just bcoz I said "give women some room to make humor about shit which THEY had to deal with." If the person in the video were an unattractive woman or a guy, in *most* cases people will downvote or ignore the post entirely. (At the very least, you'd see a lot of "this isn't funny" comments.)
