what red flags? Haha, no but I'm sure there is someone out there for her. There is lots of love to share in this world, keep looking and find someone who invests in you as much as you invest in them.
I like how they cut off in the subtitles after Neither of those boys the "called me again" part. Like, you don't need to goose the narrative, she's interesting, attractive, and not everyone's cup of tea. She
If I were one who still dates+she tried to take care of an animal, I'd say, obviously that's a major snow white quality+a keeper. In other news, my wife literally interacts with wild animals regularly (weeeeirdest fuckin thing, they just love her, I don't get it! No, not rabid ones, they just see her and think FRIEND and walk right up to her for pats or help) + looks just like fucking snow white. I hit the jackpot. Our daughter, when little, used to point at Snow White in books and say "Mama!"
"You know, this is the first time I've gone skiing in ten years." I said, "Why did you take such a long time off?" He said, "I was in prison. Want to know why?" I said, "Not really...Well, okay, you better tell me why." He said, "I pushed a total stranger off a Ferris wheel." I said, "I remember you." - Steven Wright
she actually seems very sweet. she thought she saw an injured animal and wanted to help. I think she needs to be a bit more careful (you shouldn't touch wild animals, given the number of diseases they may carry), but that's pretty common for her age.
Relatable. Few years ago I was going down the highway and saw a couple of goslings on the shoulder, looking to cross 6 lanes of rush hour traffic. There were a few geese and goslings turned into pavement paté already so I parked my motorcycle on the shoulder, opened my backpack and stuffed the at this moment only surviving gosling into it and went on my way home. Back home I nurtured it back to health. It'd follow me around everywhere with those flappy feets.
When the little gosling was doing a bit better I contacted the animal rescue people and they took him to a rehabilitation place, got an email a few months later with a picture of them setting the young goose free
This is the secret to happiness - one partner who's a little weird and has wacky adventures and the stable grounded one that makes sure they don't get in too much trouble. Like Homer/Marge.
Isn't that an episode of Friends? Joey can't remember dating some girl, turns out it was the roommate. He poked his ass on a cactus. America and 'dating' is so foreign to me.
I don't understand this post entirely, but that's ok if English is not your first language. I am not judging. However, I would like to know how dating is a foreign concept to you. Is it not vaguely universal? This is very interesting.
No one in Ireland does the whole, walks up to a stranger in the shop and asks for their number, and says let's have a date on Friday. Obviously on TV shows it's very simplified, but that never happens. If someone asked me for my number randomly I'd feel threatened. Dating sites and apps bridged it a bit so that you could have a conversation first and then hang out. Not date.
Oh, I see. Yeah, that's actually the same in the states. Anyone who just asks for a number in person is immediately noped. Aside from daying apps, of course.
People surprised that dating seems weird are blinded by the absurdly damaging American cultural valuing of independence. Dating is necessary in its form in the US because we have no genuine social networks or they are extremely anemic. If we had healthy social networks coupling would almost universally happen within that network between people familiar with one another from family/friends social events. You'd literally marry a second or third cousin or your friend's friend or whatever.
I think he's referring to dating people you don't know beforehand at all. Like meeting strangers on an app and having a date type of thing. I also think it's kind of strange. The only people I've dated are those who I knew beforehand. Maybe I didn't know them for a long time, but at least a month or so. Hung out (in friend groups) several times. Talked with them several times. All before we ever had a "date"
If I didn't "date" strangers, I would never go on a date. Although I haven't been on a date in over a year, and no, I'm not pathetically lonely today, why do you ask?

I think she's wonderful, but should probably learn to be more careful with rodents.

Right? You never lnow when 4 turtles could pop out and beat the crap out of you cuz they think you're hurting the rat.

According to imgur people who have pets, rats are nice and mice are psychopaths.

Pet rats are lovely. Street rats are wild animals who live in a fucking petri dish. They aren't evil, but they aren't safe to handle.

Well, being that you're not in the US, if American dating weren't foreign to you, it would be incredibly expensive for Americans.

I don't get any of that, America has no social networks? so no groups of friends from , friends from school, activities, hobbies, clubs?
anononanonanona
Not zero, just far worse than most of the rest of the world
Rengii
It's true in the rest of the world people just marry their cousins.
anononanonanona
The social network approach to coupling is far more inherent to human historical ways of life

So how do you find a partner in your culture? Do you just grab one off the street?
