And this one pisses me off so goddamn much, because as a veteran, I don't think we should have all that time allocated to us.
To our fallen, maybe.
But we have all of November and multiple other holidays that reflect us. Right? It pisses me off anybody who wants to fuck with Pride Month. And I do not tolerate that at all.
Sorry, little emotional over here, but I'm just a dude who wants the best for everybody, and that's why I put on the uniform. I'm not special.

No, I appreciate this mindset.
I think a military that is as integrated into and reflective of the overall population as possible is a good thing in a democracy, and in various ways that is not what we have. We have a military class, seperate and apart.
When the military goes to war, the WHOLE country should feel it. That's a good way to minimize needless wars like this Iran one.
