If you put a vibrator in a vase you can pretend you have a kitty purring in there.

#1 I just can't see this one as uplifting. Raccoons are very social animals and this one is reduced to having to hug a toy. We really should have regulations on owning animals so they are properly cared for, rather than abandoned.

Or maybe I'm just pissed from having to hear a neighbors dog howl all night because it's alone in the backyard all day/night. We really need more licensing.

It's funny how the racoon and I held the doll same way, except mine isn't a stuffed doll...

#3 is a pretty horrific way to lose a pet.

I had a college roommate who said her family cat died that way because she jumped in when her dad wasn’t looking and turned it on. I guess stuff came out of her that permanently ruined everything that was in there

Can, unfortunately, confirm.

That's one of my rational/irrational fears and I am neurotic about checking where my cats are before I start the laundry

9 months ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

FUUUUUUCK. I had a coworker one time who came to work once telling us about how his wife's new kitten had climbed in the dryer to nap and she didn't see it when she moved the laundry from the washer and started it up. Heard sevearl loud thumps, opened it up, poor kitten was already gone and apparently messed up bad enough that they had to throw out all that laundry.

It had happened the evening before. He was a fellow teacher. I remember him telling us in our shared office during the kids' nap time, and just that awful, faraway stare on his face before he started crying. Poor guy seemed really damned traumatized over it.

As we all are now, thank you for remembering
