The debt is from unnecessary wars where profits were made by the well connected, bailing out the financial system without meaningful reforms, not taxing the wealthy their fair share and years of interest payments, imagine a Congress not controlled by money.

The Cold War forced themselves to spend on their military and hence into nonexistence. The USSR only reinvented themselves by completely collapsing and breaking up. I think that there were a few dinosaurs put to rest just this August (primary season), though. The only way any of this stops is with change in Congress, with the investigatory powers and panels that start turning over the rocks that all of the fucking bugs are hiding under. I don't expect ideological perfection from the people I vote for, I'm voting for one of two possible outcomes. This is what Kamala losing looks like - and I didn't fucking like her either.

geting 350M+ to work together (when a bunch dont want to as they are part of the issue) within the rule of law (as if you break law youre no betetr than them and they will sue it agsaint your cause and you) is difficult when the safety checks have failed due to long time corruption across every level of the system.

Therapy won't save us from what USA is threatening the world with. I don't see it's People as a monolith. I've said often that too many support trump's brand of Nazism, and too many of the rest are not outraged enough, or doing enough. Good luck convincing the world that there isn't power to be found in a population of 350 million Americans, the majority of which, one would like to believe, would do everything to save their own children from growing up in a fascist dictatorship.
