That made me cry.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I got diagnosed last Friday, I'm on primer meds right now and this is on. fucking. point. Even the diagnosis was like being given a stick.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I know it'll be weeks or months before the medication takes proper effect but knowing what I'm feeling might not be permanent is amazing.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You'll continue to feel amazing! You'll know others are there to help and support you through this. Congrats and welcome back!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I saw this years ago and have been searching for it since. Thank you

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This is gorgeous.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I definitely needed this today, it's been a tough weekend, but I can tackle the week now!

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Hell yeah! This motivated me! ????

That's Boggle the Owl! ... Boggle has been a little AWOL lately, but there are more posters out there: http://boggletheowl.tumblr.com/

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

We're just here to enjoy the ride, man.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm sure someone out there needs to read this today.

9 years ago | Likes 106 Dislikes 2

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Made my day. Thank you.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I did. ❤

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I don't know if I needed it tonight, but I'll keep it in case I need it tomorrow

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Same here my friend.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I've been struggling w/ schizophrenia for a real long time. Gets harder and harder to hold on each day. I'm so glad I found this, thank you.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thank you! I needed that stick...

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I wish I'd seen this 2 years ago when my friend needed help and I didn't know what to do to help her. Or to be more accurate I wish she'd>

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'm still battling my depression I've called myself pathetic or worse. Yet still here cause there has to be a reason and I'm still looking.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

It means you care. Baby steps. You'll find beauty in the tiniest of moments. Keep battling because it gets better-- I've been there.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Have you tried dogs? Dogs have made my life worth living. I'm still depressed but at least there are dogs.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I do I have three they help a lot.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thank you OP. This is beautiful. I struggled with stuff like this not too long ago. Trust me when I say this is incredibly powerful.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

shrug, I have the gear, I have the plan, just waiting for my parents to die of old age so my final act doesn't hurt anyone, life sucks.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Depression is a liar. You can beat this, you have the strength in you. I'll break my heart if I think of this post later and you're gone.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

for some of us there is no hope. The only time i'm at peace is when i'm asleep, and I for one am tired of waking up.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

There is always hope. I've been there. Almost cheated out of life at 18. My strength comes from helping others. It saved me.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

after 2 decades, dozens of therapists and therapies, and god only knows how many different meds, there's really only one option left.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You may think its a terrible thing, but really, all I do is take up space and waste peoples time, i'm just waiting for the suffering to end.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

being drunk and reading this... for some reason it hit way to close to home for me... never suicidal but still hit close to home

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Take a seat over there and we'll have a chat about that watermark

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

I needed to hear this back then. I was a kid homeless with my family, like sharing a sinking ship. No one to listen. it still haunts me.

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

Don't care where this came from. Looking through all the comments and seeing all the people it helped, this post is a source of good.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"Wow, what an inspiring and life-saving poster. I'm gonna steal it and brand it as my own!"

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Thank you. I needed this.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'd kill myself if I saw a poster with a 9gag watermark in my therapist's waiting room.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 3

It's not like it originated from there

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I needed to read this. Thanks c:

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thank you @OP

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Boggle saved my fucking life

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What's boggle? Can you share some more info?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Boggle is the owl in this poster. Their website is here: http://boggletheowl.tumblr.com/ Back when I was in the middle of an utter breakdown

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Boggle's posts helped me ground myself and keep going. Now I'm past the needs for my meds, back in work, and on the mend :)

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thanks. Congrats.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As someone who has tried to execute a plan, I am crying right now.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Me too <3

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I know you can do this, we all need our sticks from time to time. Be wonderfully you without caring what others think. Sending love ❤️

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I tried to commit suicide once. Very glad I woke up the next day-- my life is amazing!

9 years ago | Likes 55 Dislikes 2

Congratulations! Being a skeleton definitely has its perks.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I am still hoping the "life is amazing" or even "it's okay," to form for me. It's been a while since my suicide attempt, but here I am.

9 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

You will get there. It took me several years

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It's astounding how utterly hopeless you feel in that moment. I have never felt so low as I did the night I tried to overdose. Well, I 1/2

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

guess I did overdose, but I was taken to the hospital and drank charcoal.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I don't like that phrase because it's so easily confused with attention seeking.

9 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

And is often used synonymously.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Attention seekers are often a step away from being suicidal. Think of it this way: We have a chance to help them before it goes nuclear

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

but we shouldn't turn a cold shoulder to attention seeking either, everyone needs some love, some more than others.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

My brother was just 302'd last night. Depression lies. Seek help if life is no longer fun. You are valuable.

9 years ago | Likes 54 Dislikes 4

Sending good vibes your way, friend.

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

Thank you. <3

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

302'd?

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Involuntary psych hold. If you're a danger to yourself.

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

I need this almost ever day... Maybe a few times a day... What's it like to have family and people who care if you live or die?

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

I do, because I'm sure I enjoyed some of your posts/comments before, if you disappear I lose that. Nice bike.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I care. If you ever need to get anything off your chest message me. Completely unbiased. Stay strong. Better days are ahead.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I asked myself the question "How many people would actually cry if i died?" and my count was something between 0 - 3, and even then I was1/?

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

doubtful of those three. So I texted one of them, just casually. Somehow she must've known stuff was up because she kept asking me stuff

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

about how I felt, how my day way,... Eventually I told her how I felt and she really lifted my spirits up. Went to sleep with a smile

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

knowing that she genuinely, really cared for me. And I think everyone has at least one person like that. Somewhere, even if you

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

might have forgotten about them. So there's that. 5/5
