When our child does something silly, my wife blames me.
Then I remind her that while I contributed 50% of the genetic material, the rest of the entire cellular system is completely on her. Mitochondria, ribosomes, etc all hers. Therefore, she has a larger influence that my mere 50% of nuclear DNA.
