After being to several Chinese cities the few lights of Las Vegas look really boring

Welcome to Space. What were you expecting? Its a dangerous place. Thank you for investing.
Go there for your rota, there for your orders. Fill up these quotas, we'll bill for your quarters.
Report to your foreman, but watch for marauders, 'cause if you get eaten, there's fees for your mourners.
Prosperity's there in the care of Magnates. In Halcyon, heaven awaits.
Did you think it was supposed to look like the poster? "It mostly does" oh, if you'd only looked closer.

Reminded me, rather uncomfortably, of Omega.

Who in their right mind would want to live in a place like that? Eeeww

I was born too late or too soon. All I know is I hate it here.

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yea I’m to poor for any of this.

We work, to earn the right to work
to earn the right to work, to earn the right to work.
To earn the right to give. Ourselves the right to buy.
Ourselves the right to live. To earn the right to die.

The future? Nah, just China.

3 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

All these stories, video games, boosk, movies, etc, made to warn us about this as a possible future, and so many of ya'all are running full tilt toward it like it's the epitome of society. Yet somehow, in that same push, KNOW it is the near worse example we could ever hope for, and would only be for the brief breath before we are dust and forgotten to time. How many other lifeforms will we drag down with us? Will there even BE any life left?. This isn't a good thing.

Under appreciated and underrated comment of the month.

That reminds me of the California wildfires of 2020. Someone took a drone and flew around San Francisco then added music from Blade Runner. It looked like a post apocalypse movie. The color was not edited.

Looks like a sci-fi movie.

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Thats... both cool and eerie as shit.

Eerie

I remember :/

3 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I remember that day. Walked out my door, looked around, and said fuck this. Went back to bed.

Yes, it really looked like that. Eerie as fuck. The next two days were similar, but not as bad. The orange day was incredible.

Breathing was… interesting.

I went outside started coughing from the fact it was "snowing" ash and went back inside and decided I didn't need to get any snacks at that time.

3 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The picture of a McDonalds on fire in the background with ash flying past is an image I wont forget, some real sci-fi shit but real.

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I went out surfing in Santa Cruz that day - ash and ashen leaves and pine needles raining down. What a time!

Breathing that shit was hard AF. Even in Sacramento, it was hella smoky. One of the reasons I don’t miss CA (other is CoL). Miss CA for everything else

Why Robert Miles instead of Vangelis?

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

God I love 90s EDM!

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Needs way more Vangelis on that soundtrack

3 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I know the tune but I can't name it, would you mind sharing your knowledge?

3 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The tune in the above video is Children by Robert Miles

3 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Vangelis was the composer for the music layered over this comment/video /gallery/pgjoeFe/comment/2505617747

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

After a bit of research it is "Children" from Robert Miles.

3 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Are you talking about OP's video or the one I was referring to?

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Sounds a lot like the NCIS theme music, with small differences

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If you mean the music from the video at the top, it's 'Children [Dream Version]' by Robert Miles

Or maybe a slightly slower version of the track.
