Hell yeah. Get a good one so you'll never have to stop playing! I remember going through so many of those soft crinkle pads in our friends group before we bought the foam insert ones, then one of our friends bought the metal cobalt flux pads. Great memories

Looking at houses atm and one of them we looked at had a room dedicated to DDR with full RGB speakers all around the room and the full, solid arcade pad bolted to the floor with the balance bar.

I'd recommend one of the L-TEK ones. Relatively cheap, as niche metal arcade pads go, and the one I've got is super solid and reliable.
