Little dick in a big truck almost couldn't reach down low enough to get his food at the drive up.

HommeDeFeu
Pavement princess, you can tell by the wheel well and the tires. I've had a jacked up truck but it had a snorkel cause rivers run deep. Also a lot of little bits of damage all over the bottom half from the off roading and occasional rocks. We make fun of these (guys)
GeorgeCostabaplaps
Trucks can fuck right off. The only truck I'd consider would be a Toyota Landcruiser from 1994-98. Maybe a Mazda B2200.
RetrogradeLlama
I like the old school Landcruisers from before 1980. They looked like they just drove off the African plains. Looked much like an old Land Rover before those too became luxury cars.
decarnatedame
I will never understand people like this who insist their gigantic hunk of shit will fit in the fast food drive through or at the bank drive through. Or parking spots right in front at the store.
duktayp
Every once in awhile we hear a story of a truck like this at a stoplight.... Light turns green and they run into a small car in front of them because "sorry, I just didn't see them down there"
xj4low
We have too many of these trucks in Dallas. I call them the Compensation Package.
Spaceboyardee
Sorry bout yer penis bro
genericanamoly
I think a bumper sticker with your comment would piss them off.

All he had to do was get closer to the curb
oldguyexlurker
Odds're good that truck has never seen an unimproved dirt road. I've taken my '73 caddy on the kind of roads his truck will never see. Oh... and it's LOUD AS SHIT inside that cab (and outside it on the highway). Those knobby tires wear damned fast as they roar down the freeway at 70mph.
apairofpetducks
Lol I took my 94 Corsica on the kind of roads this truck will never see. It complained, but it was a trouper.
oldguyexlurker
'73 Coupe DeVille. I've got pics.... somewhere. The camera was a 35mm SLR.

I like the Law in AU. fenders must cover tire stickout
RetrogradeLlama
It's the law in most US states... but it's often not enforced.
UNHchabo
And even fenders can't always save you from tire-to-tire contact, as shown in this clip from 2023 (IMSA racing in Detroit, but with aussie Leigh Diffey and englishman Calvin Fish on commentary).

I have the opposite problem; have to reach way up in my Porsche 944S
dohcohv
Miata, the roof is below the window, by a lot.
lightfoot2
Hah. I have driven one with the top off and my head clears the windshield. Fun car
justpullnpray
Same in my fiero . A Honda Civic towers over me
lightfoot2
Aw you have a Fiero. I had a 914-4 and loved it, do you have the 4 cyl one or the 6?
wantedTwo
Better question is what did he start with 😜
lightfoot2
Not sure if you could swap the engines; the Fiero 4 had an amazing body I still lust after but really chevette parts like brakes. The 6 was better inside, but had a more boring body.
My 914 could easily swap between the 2.0 4 cyl and a 2.0 6 cyl 911E engine I had mated to another 901 transmission. Could switch in 30 mins, the 6 didn't get as good mileage but was fun.
justpullnpray
I got rid of the chevette brakes. Lol I'm actually running 1996 Pontiac Grand Am vented disc brakes drilled and slotted braided stainless lines and a Chevrolet S10 brake booster.
justpullnpray
Supercharged 3800 with head mods cam mods computer mods mods mods mods lol
lightfoot2
Ah one of the later 6 cyl models. Very nice, I've kept the 944s stock with the 16 valve engine
About 400k miles on it and runs well
justpullnpray
Nice I bet it's super fun
Zeeall
Pickup trucks stopped being useful in like 1996, since then its just factory brodozers.
drdorman86350
Pavement Princesses.
Revnis
In most cases pretty much, at least the nice looking ones. I mean honestly it's essentially a less functional mini van for most folks. And also why I have a mini van so nice to haul the random shit I need to and 99% of the time it's to haul the kid or family around.
alienstomper
Thats not completely true, ford does make the ranger which has a decent bed size and isnt monster-truck sized. Its apparently decently popular in s america. Then there's stuff like the daihatsu trucks which are insanely useful and will definitely be the truck i get if im ever able to own property big enough for things youd need a truck for
YpsilantiRomani
I will always miss my 88 F-150, it was my grandfather's, then my dad's, & then mine.
StunttheRunt
Not true. My 2001 Sierra has been super useful and still is. Carries tools, materials to build things, carry dogs to and from the house safely, camping once in a while. I do have a topper and that's very useful.
I think you meant to say people to never use trucks for the truck bed and simply as a status symbol are useless. Also those who lift it, and buy a 4x4 but never take it off road, same thing, useless.
FYI I drive my wife's 93 Nissan Axxess to work daily, the 2.4L is cheap on gas.
lightfoot2
They're always useful, the sad part was the Chicken Tariffs in 1985 or so. The VW Rabbit Pickup was incredible.
nik282000
Modern pickups aren't useful for shit. 5.5 foot boxes with a bed that sits at nipple height just means you have to hurt your back loading not enough stuff into it. A mini-van has more cubic feed of hauling space than a ram or f-150. My 16 year old b2300 is easier to load and holds more than a new tacoma for fucks sake.
lightfoot2
Yeah the ones with the big cabs are silly. I've got a 94 S10 longbed and it can pretty much haul 8 feet of anything. And it has a frame; the kids have smashed it into trees, tailed it into a jersey barrier, and crashed it into a telephone pole with little more than destroyed bumpers.
Good truck.
VolcanoHerder
Everyone uses vehicles for different reasons. You can't sleep under the stars in a minivan. Nor can you have a backhoe drump a load of compost straight into it. Trucks ARE right in some situations. Most are just pavement princesses though.
dohcohv
Volume and weight are two different things. You can get an old S10 with an 8ft bed, but the payload capacity is low. It can't even take half a pallet of tile. Same year 3/4 ton truck will handle a full pallet no problem. It's why trucks have different bed lengths and there are different classes of trucks.
I have a minivan, but I'm not using it to hold all the branches when I trim my trees, I'm also not using it to pull dead vehicles.
METROlD
Those tiny Asian trucks with waist height beds are the best. You can get them for 10 grand.
Zeeall
European pickup trucks is where its at.
dohcohv
Beware local laws when looking at kei trucks. It may be difficult to impossible to register them.
If you want a cheap truck, check government surplus auctions, I was able to pick mine up for 2k, it's an ex-game warden truck.
METROlD
True but they’re everywhere in Seattle. There’s a dealership full of them on Aurora. So they can’t be that illegal.
wantedTwo
Why is the tread clean?
UnaccomplishedWatcherImNotaBot
Because they don't make condoms his size
alienstomper
Cause he lives in town and his idea of "mudding" is driving past (not down, just past) a dirt road after a light rain.
hereforthememes420
Because it's a pavement princess.

It just got its weekly wash and has never been off pavement once.

I’m saying it’s fake. Reflection in the mirror is also suspicious.
UnaccomplishedWatcherImNotaBot
To me that reflection looks like a perfectly reasonable mirror of his neck
hereforthememes420
Nah, it was raining/wet out. Reflection in mirror is the side of his face near his ear. Midget micropeen energy dude probably has the mirror tilted at a crazy angle so he can see traffic.
wantedTwo
Except it’s not raining, looking at the concrete, and if that’s his ear… dude has cancer.
