Hey, something to live for!

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You mean the sequel?

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Please don't make the O'Connells estranged. It's unnecessary.

1 month ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Are they playing the mummies?

Honestly fantastic timing, my sexuality has been needing this. Can't explain further.

1 month ago | Likes 61 Dislikes 2

No further explanation needed. Fellow bisexuals understand

1 month ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

I (bisexual) explained OP's post in excitement to my partner (not bisexual), and then swiftly went on to explain my comment, which he didn't get. Which lead to now everyone in this household being UTD with that meme. Incredibly, the movie is being released on my partner's birthday which seems like a gift to me, not him.

Wait, the 1999 cinematic masterpiece starring Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz is getting a continuation?

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Will they finally F...ind the ancient ruins Hamunaptra?

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 9

If you're trying to make a sex joke you really need to watch the movies again

1 month ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Yeah, it's been a while...

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

"Third" Mummy flick. We disregard the third Mummy movie entirely.

1 month ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I thought Tomb of the Dragon Emperor was actually pretty good.

1 month ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I like them both. We all get to grow older together. They should do a Romantic Comedy, I'd go see that. Something hopeful, I need that, real bad.

The big question is whether the actor who played Johnathan will return or not. He was my fave!!( Maybe not if I don't even remember the actors name lol)

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's a continuation from the mummy returns. It is not going to continue from the 3rd.

1 month ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Cant find evidence of this claim, but I hope you are right

Rachel Weisz…. Woof 🥰

Both are now Oscar winners.

"Death is only the beginning"

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I guess we're skipping Tom Cruise's movie lol

1 month ago | Likes 34 Dislikes 4

That was actually a different universe for the mummy, not related in anything but the theme and name. They should call it the mummy 3 and we'll just pretend that never happened

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Skipping the what?

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

it's not part of the same series.

1 month ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I honestly liked that movie

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Me too, I liked the more serious tone of the story.

The Mummy Franchise is vast, and officially includes the Boris Karloff/Lon Chaney movies. This series has been called the "Stephen Sommers/Rick O'Connell Series", which includes the Scorpion King spinoffs.
Tom Cruise's movie is considered an entirely separate offshoot of the franchise.

The Book of the Dead from the first movie was shown as an easter egg in one of the scenes of that movie. Sorry.

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What does Mission Impossible have to do with The Mummy?

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That wasn't trying to be a movie in this continuity, so for that reason, yes, we skip it. And the fact that it was just awful. I love watching shit movies, so yes I've seen it, and yes it's just that bad.

In french we have two words for bad movies.
"Navet" ("Turnip"). It's a bad movie. It's just bad. Ew.
And "Nanar" which is a deformation of an old french word for "thing with no great value" but for movie enthusiasts sometimes means "so bad it's good".
Cruise's Mummy is a Turnip. It's bad. Just bad. Ew.

This is really interesting! Thank you for sharing!

What Tom Cruise movie?

/s for the clarity

1 month ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 0

What clarity? What Tom Cruise movie?

1 month ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Universal tried to create a MonsterVerse with a Mummy movie starring Tom Cruise in 2017. It failed miserably

1 month ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Good to hear I don’t like Tom Cruise

1 month ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

That movie was so aggressively mid.

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I saw it with my parents at the theatre and it was so forgettable

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Of all the movies that have been, it is one of them, for sure.

Starring Jared Leto as The Mummy

Jared Leto as their adult son

1 month ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 7

As shown with MOTU, if ya make 'is face CGI and skeletal, it works!
So this would not be that bad! 😆

1 month ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Don't fucking do that, don't give them ideas, they worship that abusive shitstain in Hollywood.

And Ezra Miller as the scarabs that crawl in your skin.

Then the movie is already ruined.

The Mummy 4: Box Office Poison. RIP Norm.

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Isn't he like a prolific sex criminal?

1 month ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 2

No convictions, but I did a deep dive on this subject. Holy crap are there a lot of cases out there.

1 month ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Yes

1 month ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 2

At this point I'm convinced he has some extreme blackmail against half of Hollywood

1 month ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

If it's anything like his take as Skeletor, bring it the fuck on!

1 month ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

You mean the take that made me blacklist that movie? Fuck no.

1 month ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Did you watch it before deciding that?

He's pretty much the best thing about the movie.

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

Why the fuck would I have watched the movie and THEN blacklisted it? Did you even think about that comment before posting it? The dude's a pedophile and he's been accused and brought to court by other women in the past, even if he's gotten the charges dismissed. He is a fucking freak. I don't care if his acting was "good" for the first time ever, I'm not fucking watching it.

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Dude is a pedo and his acting doesn't make up for it

1 month ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

1 month ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

On the one hand, he didn't suck in Masters of the Universe, but frankly at this point he's probably cheaper than a RADA grad

1 month ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

I honestly liked him as Skeletor. Hell, I really liked Masters of the Universe a lot, but was pleasantly surprised by his performance.

1 month ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

I appreciated the fact that they mixed "legitimately dire and intimidating threat" with "goofy cartoon villain" in a way that DIDN'T dilute the threat.

1 month ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Had the Four Blonds song while one of the henchmen was being an actual threat. That really was not a bad movie.

1 month ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

His performance is always pretty solid IMO, it's the shit he gets asked to do (I challenge you to find someone other than Jim Carrey who could deliver that 'It's Morbin Time' line well, poor bastard)

1 month ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

He’s a very pretty man, and I appreciate that he’s never been afraid to get ugly in his roles. There are some actors out there that refuse to do anything that may mar their image, but he always seems to be down to get f-ed up.

1 month ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

You do know that "It's Morbin Time" isn't actually a line from Morbius, right? It was invented to mock the film. https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/its-morbin-time

1 month ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

I always assumed that was a reference to the line he says right before he attacks in that corridor in his controlled vampire form for the first time, which might as well have been 'it's morbin time'. I can't remember the actual line, but it wasn't good, and I can't bring myself to watch it again.

1 month ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

God I hope not

1 month ago | Likes 75 Dislikes 2

Don't worry. Arnold Vosloo is already confirmed to return.

1 month ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Or The Rock in some really bad cgi body.

1 month ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 1

Okay but when I saw that in theaters as a kid I thought it looked indistinguishable from real life.

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They already did that in the Mummy Returns

1 month ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

The mummy returns the scorpion king returns too
