That subtle shadow on the underside of the bottle is 15/10, the rest is 10/10 because that's a stunning illustration, no contest.

Just curious, but why don’t artists ever put the year next to their signature?

Fucking great owl..

Its... A butt plug! No... Ok... It's a toilet! No.... ok.... It's a lava cake! Ok, you know what? I give up.

Is the paper temporarily taped to the art to keep your hand from smudging the undrawn on paper?

Yes

The textures, shadowing and cleanliness while working with charcoal is so impressive. Nice work. Thanks for posting.

Buyer's friend is like that's a photo. Buyer: well I have this video...

This is where it gets me. The skill is undeniable as is the effort, but when it looks like a photo & it's a picture of something had on hand to look at, how much of that is really art? Are you paying for art or just the skill & effort? Does it make you feel something other than that a lot of skill & effort went into it? Before photos the value, artistic or not, would've been insanely immense. There is obviously still a great deal of value, but the particulars of an art part of it eludes me.

I thought it was going to be a realistic urinal to start and figured that was a bad thing to draw on a wall.

Sad to say I went to the same place in the first few seconds.

Wowza! That is super talent.

The skill and the sheer amount of patience, unimaginable!

The process is still amazing to watch. And the result superb

Ancient talent from ancient civilization/s. IMHO…

I could do that if I wanted to... and had the skill.
I just dont want to... and dont have the skill.

That’s amazing but I can’t Unser toes for the bottom of the perfume bottle

Is that a…… oh

Hahahah same

Right?
First, I'm like that's a butt plug.
Then, I'm like that's a urinal.

Which I thought was a weird thing to want a drawing of, unless you were putting it on a bathroom wall.

Which is a terrible idea, because what if you got really drunk sometimes....

As an engineer, bah I can sink 3000 hours into building a machine that can do the same in an hour!

I LOVE your work, Emily. It's absolutely wonderful how you make such impressive 3 dimensional detail come to life. Some might say, why not just enlarge a photograph? The artist chooses what to put in and leave out, which adds a nuance you just can't get with photography.

Your first drawing I ever saw was of the Indian motorcycle. Still my favorite!

It's easy to see you love your work and it's a joy to watch.

Thanks for sharing!

I love absolutely everything about this, down to your changing hairstyles. How much do your shoulders and arms hurt from raising them for so long?

Good choice to draw the butt plug part first, really effective attention capturer.
