I like to put it to those people this way: I have a proposition for you. You can save $73 a year on your taxes, and poor people won't get money they didn't earn... OR... you can save $700 a year on your taxes, poor people get money that helps keep them from starving to death or dying to the elements, and rich people who have plenty of money don't get money they didn't earn. Do you want to not give $73 a year to poor people, or not give $700 a year to rich people?"
"How dare my taxes go towards anyone but the billionaires to siphon off tax dollars with unethical government contracts! The billionaires need more and everyone else needs to suffer!"
Angry Republican: "How dare you take my money to feed weird Libruls." Liberals: "Actually, most liberal economies are doing OK. Most of the welfare/social programs benefit right/red states." Angry Republican: "....H....m....But how dare you take my money to feed people just like me!"
Equivalent of a talking head. It adds visual hyperbole. Not impressed. If the message is compelling, it's boorish to take it further and try to manipulate people who might be on the fence.

And then there's the military budget.

Beards without a moustache look stupid, especially in this case. Like a child had put on a fake beard.

I will not care about Murican's problems anymore, the shitpile is way too large. We have sorted out our politics, you should do, too.

Is the hyperbole another one of those usa-only "world" cups?
DeadeicPrints
This is a joke right? Its difficult to tell these days.
bolobass
Is it pronounced like superbowl or like Persephone or is that pronounced like mobile phone?
DeadeicPrints
Its a tomato/tomato situation. Usually (in my personal exp) its pernounced "hy-per-bowl-ee." It means exaggeration.
