I think it should be handled from the company side. The company owner, president, and HR director all spend one month in jail for every illegal immigrant they hire. Need workers? Tell congress to give out more work visas.

Move visas isnt the answer. Its an issue off labor competition. More prospective employees means someone can get paid cheaper. You cant honestly say you dont look for cheaper deals on products or services. No one can say that. Everyone wants to save a buck. So the next best option is limit the labor market.

It creates a lot of problems for our public systems, and isn't fair to people trying to get in through the legal channels. Also, they do not have authorization to work, no SS number, and therefore have to work for cash and often in unsafe exploited manner. We need to have comprehensive reform so that it is safer and fairer for everyone- but the razor wire anti-immigrant assholes are also wrong....

I do. We are at a point in Canada where new Canadians are turning around and going home, 'cuz they cannot afford to live here. I am grateful for our immigrants, but the integration is seriously out of sync with reality. That said, I would way rather have immigrants struggling here, than getting shot at home.

Its an issue of high labor competition. No one will pay person A 25$ for a job when they can pay 20$. You look for cheaper prices all the time. More prospective employees means lower wages for everyone. Basic economics.
