Let's all remember that Hillary got about 3 million more votes than the gold-leaf shit-stain, and then we all learned that votes in smaller states count more than votes from larger states.
Trumps most stressful day at work was deciding which apartment building he was going to kick black people out of and then decided to kick them out of all of them. Republicans are fucking morons....
To be fair there were several times he almost got caught committing fraud and someone almost charged him with something. I'm sure it must have been stressful almost facing consequences for raping Carol and others. (Super sarcastic if you can't tell)
Y'know, I kinda almost wish a conservative/MAGA/Republican (there is *technically* a Venn diagram here even if the overlap is 98.27%) asked me who I voted for. I'd have to say, "Well, you know how corporations and governments will folks who are really good at hacking and other cybercrimes to protect their computer systems? Well, I voted for Trump because I figured he'd do a great job protecting our women and children for much the same reason."
They guy doesn’t even know how to buy groceries. How the fuck were they able to convince working class people that he knew what they were going through?
One thing that has become increasingly clear is that what people *say* are the most important issues to them does not necessarily directly relate to how they actually vote.
when people were saying dont listen to taylor. she is a billionaire that never went grocery shopping . trump was born rich. i doubt trump ever went grocery shopping or did his own laundry
"On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron." --- H.L. Mencken
Problem is Trump made them "feel" heard, while democrats are completely detached. Like when the average person talks about the housing crisis, they are talking about working 60 to 80 hours a week and still not being able to afford rent. Then democrats are like, "this will fix it so that the middle class can more easily afford a first home." Like the people in question will never afford their own home, they just want to make rent, that is going up since it is being treated like investments now..
And for the record, I never voted for Trump. I just think it is ridiculous that more and more people are becoming homeless because trust funds are buying up all the property, and treating it the same way they would stock investments. Gotta make number go up, myth of infinite growth, etc.
It still amazes me how many people voted for Trump because they not only believed garbage like that, they somehow thought that Trump didn't actually despise anyone who wasn't wealthy.
He hates his MAGAs, but gets them to believe he loves and understands their needs. Yeah, but he 1 doesn't, and 2 doesn't give a crap! He is starting to do things now that will make them understand what 'poor' really means! May the angels p*ss on him from a great height, and a fine spray!
It's very very simple. The system is fucking them over and every politician is saying it's fine. Trump was one of the few willing to say out loud "yes the system is fucking you, all of you and it has been for years"
It helped that he lied and said he would undo the fuckery when in fact he exploited it, and it also helped Trump that a lot of "insiders" prevented him from fully exploiting the fuckery in his first term.
this is 90% the results of fascist corporate media's purposeful (lying) presentation of trump. not only trump was the "poor" man who understood hard working americans, trump was also and "outsider". they knew then but we know know from the Epstein Pedophile Files and others that trump was always in contact and friends with the powerful, billionaires, oligarchs, elitists, and foreign governments.
agreed. historians of this era will write about the few short decades that saw the rise of cable, then internet, then social media, then smart phones, as a mass media super-event, exponentially more convoluted and consequential than its radio-television predecessor because it went unchecked and unregulated, and was allowed to be privately monopolized by a handful of near-trillionaires who knew how to use it for what it was: the most powerful propaganda machine in human history.
what i don't get is how people believe it, the news/propaganda? i did take all the business/marketing classes i still don't understand why it works? i've never in life purchased items i saw advertised on TV, radio, print, internet. why does it work on most others? when people consume "news" social media, why r they unable to process the lies from facts?

I bet Hilary knows what a corner store is.

The struggle he is talking about is: „being hateful and being disliked for it“

That’s a lot of words to say “because she’s a woman.”

They thought Trump resonated with the common folk because they heard how dumb Trump talks and thought "yes, we see ourselves in him" lmao

Dude also got in trouble in NY for almost bankrupting a project because he was paying himself $500k/month.
NY capped him at 350k/month…which is still ridiculous.

A modest $4 million salary? How can anyone live on that…?

Of all the things in that family photo, the stupidest thing that stands out to me the most is Melania doing a fucking power stance.

Don't worry he also despises the wealthy (well, wealthier than him), they just have a few billions reasons for him to play nice-ish.

It's funny to see that in past tense, since all the ones that I know still do believe that.
