As someone who works health and Safety on movie and TV sets, i camt even get people to wear hard hats unless they get threatened.
This is pretty much every person over a certain age everywhere on earth.

yes, yes nothing to see here just the EARTH FALLING OUT FROM BENEATH YOU

Better back the truck up another 7 or 8 inches

I'm pretty sure this is in Indonesia... and it's normal there it seems. Lived there for 8 years and still haven't figured out if they're just blissfully unaware of the danger they are in (or will be in), or whether they're all going "if it's God's will", or whether they're all just megachads staring death in the eye and going "come on, do it you pussy".

"It's not dangerous on OUR side!" - guy in green shirt.

8 months ago | Likes 165 Dislikes 1

well...its not actively collapsing and signalling to the other side to continue backing up seems to be saving lives. My vote is for green shirt guy. Green shirt guy for president

Did they all wanna keep their spot for when the road opens after they fix it in 9 months.

The movies have it all wrong. When the zombies attack we're all going to stand around staring at them and only start running when the zombie is literally chewing on us.

People do this in fires a lot if there isn't a designated person to tell people to gtfo.

8 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Need to find someone on the other side and facetime them so you can each see what it looks like beneath your feet so you can decide if you should treat it like a real emergency, or just stand there watching.

now this is how you divide a people....

Survival instincts of a human. Don't insult potatoes. No light, no soil, no water, No problem. The potato lives, fights and grows.

8 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Ya, I was about to say this is insulting to the potato.

And here we see a large group of people who don't know how sink holes work. The bit that first collapses is just the tip of the iceberg that is the void that's been created and completely unstable. If you see a sink hole, you get the fuck away from it.

We can see who was on the wrong side, but who had the horses?

8 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Benny!!

8 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No, no, no. Benny had the jets!

8 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Smh

Nobody fell in though, so their survival instincts were fine. Did you expect them to leave the country or something?

8 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well, potatoes do enjoy being buried alive...

8 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You'd see me on the other side waving back at the guy falling in

8 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Idiots..fucking RUN!

8 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

The fun part about paved paths is that they look sturdy despite the embankment or earth crumbling beneath them. While quicksand is a smaller issue than we were led to believe as kids, sinkholes are a larger, realer one.

I'm just gonna amble in this direction at a leisurely pace

Sauntering away from death

If they kept walking until fully off the bridge that would be enough in this case. The stopping an standing still before is what baffles me.

The stupidity of people in general is unbelievable. The ones at the front must have had very good mothers to have made it to adulthood.

8 months ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 3

And we are wondering why no one wins the big prices in the lottery, when these guys use up all the luck of mankind for surviving on a daily basis

8 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Apparently survival in some countries is purely based on quantity.

8 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I feel like those people are not taking the situation anywhere as seriously as they should.

8 months ago | Likes 335 Dislikes 3

They never do.

I’m sure the world is looking at us n the stupid orange and saying the same thing

I bet they're mostly just pissed because the only other way to cross the valley is a 5 hour detour now.

8 months ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 0

if you die, you die, simple problems with simple solutions.

8 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah, no biggie... the earth is just disappearing in front of them

8 months ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Big deal, things disappear all the time. The Earth ain't special.

"The street I stand on is collapsing? So what! Not my street, not my problem."

8 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Who paid for this floor?

8 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The state. With the money that magically appears in its bank account which has nothing to do with me.

8 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Could be that they are far more used to shit than folks that have better infrastructure are. Being from America we are very used to this happening lol.

8 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Even if this is true, it just means they have more of a false sense of security than is warranted.

8 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

As nobody fell in, they have taken the situation serious enough. maybe even slightly too serious. But that's in hindsight.

8 months ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 13

....what? I really hope this comment is sarcastic, but, given some of the others comments I've read, I really can't tell anymore.

8 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If you do something reckless, it doesn't retroactively become not reckless if you don't get hurt or die.

8 months ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 2

But was it reckless then? or a proper estination of risk?

8 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As a connoisseur of stupid dangerous things, you're one hundred percent correct.

8 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

If it didn’t harm you this time it never will. He’s 100% successful, it’s just basic math
