The fun part about paved paths is that they look sturdy despite the embankment or earth crumbling beneath them. While quicksand is a smaller issue than we were led to believe as kids, sinkholes are a larger, realer one.
Could be that they are far more used to shit than folks that have better infrastructure are. Being from America we are very used to this happening lol.
