My cat gets a summer haircut every year. Shes a Norwegian forest cat with very long and very dense fur she wont let me brush her as well as being mostly black. She over heats very easily in the hot weather and vet recommends she get one.

Pre hair cut Pic. If doesnt get a hair cut. She only lay in front of the AC all summer and stay in dark places. After the hair cut she will go outside on the patio pretty much all day (fully enclosed screened patio)
