Yeah, I have to think the teacher knew it was a favor and was playing along with them. It adds a level of Drama to the event the kids will appreciate and makes a better story for later too
When we grew up and went to school, there were certain teachers who Would hurt the children in any way they could By pouring their derision upon anything we did Exposing every weakness however carefully hidden by the kid But in, but in the town, it was well known, when they got home at night Their fat and psychopathic wives would thrash them within inches of their lives
I remember I didn't have a pen to write a girls phone number down with, so the entire walk home, I just kept repeating the number over and over because I was afraid if I stopped then I would forget it. We then went on to date each other for a couple of years.
Every so often while I'm trying to remember a part number or a phone number between desks my brain will start playing that song that goes "8675309". Just as a fuck you I guess.
If it's any consolation, my first relationship was a long-distance. Lasted 4 years, ended 14 years ago, and I can still rattle off her entire number, area code included.
Then your friend comes running up like "dude, did you see 24 last night? There was like 7 or 8 guys on the roof of 417 west 83rd street, and then then the terrorist is like '6 of these people are hostages. you must take your answer to the payphone on 53rd street in the next 18 minutes and call the number 555-7442...'

He actually did them a favor. He gave them the chance to quickly bond against their new nemesis, Prof CB.

I did that in 3rd grade. When I called the number, it was my 2nd grade teacher's house. I think i got some of the numbers mixed up.

Fortunately, this was before 24. However, the same ass whoopin would still apply to any similar situation had it happened.
