Actually a federal judge in Florida deferred a ruling on a motion by The New York Times to dismiss the massive suit, instead giving Trump until August 27, 2026, to file a revised, more succinct amended complaint.

I figured it was something like that. Chump doesn't understand that and thinks it's a win. All it means is that if he cant prove that they actually defamed him, which reporting the truth is not defamation, then his case gets tossed.

Either he doesn't understand or he does and see's the opportunity to nuance and spin the judgment. He does for both reasons all the time.
