See my comment elsewhere in this thread. My calculations show it's just sitting on the surface, about 2.5 feet thick.

According to my calculations, that's all of it. At 490lb/cubic foot and about 100 square feet in plan area, it should be about 2.5 feet thick, so we're seeing everything. It apparently just smacked like a belly flop into the ground and stopped.

Those circles are ancient fancy magnates, they pulled the meteorite in from orbit and gently placed it in the middle of the circles to be worshipped. That's the story my tin foil hat tells me.
