Devil's advocate here. They're not saying "not everything about rape is bad". Everything about rape is definitely bad. But if you see the fetus as a human that needs to be protected, where it came from doesn't matter. Probably a bad and overly lighthearted example: if I see a drug dealer drop a 20 dollar bill and walk away, I'm definitely going to keep that dollar. I don't care if it came from a drug deal.

Probably because how conception happened is no one's business but the mother. If you choose to keep the baby (assuming you have a choice), why would you ever tell your kid they were a product of rape? That's horrible.

While the site may have had an angle, it is also true to say that both statements about her birth are simple statements of fact, and NOT meant to validate either scenario in the general case. A more charitable interpretation would be that she overcame some very disadvantageous initial circumstances, in that she was almost certainly born into poverty and may have initially been unwanted. But I'm NOT going to say that "people should be pro-life because their kid could be the next Eartha Kitt";
