There are better wrestlers to make biopics about I'm sure.

Poor Thunderlips

They should still make it, but make it accurate and show how much of a terrible person he is and always has been.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

You would think the Terry's rampant racism of the past would have been an indicator.

2 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 2

Watcha gonna do when the consequences of decades of your actions catch up with you, brother ?

2 years ago | Likes 522 Dislikes 5

If you wear lots of orange makeup, you whine. So, so much whining. Just remember: The dildo of consequences rarely arrives lubed.

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Say your prayers, eat your vitamins, and blame someone else, brother.

2 years ago | Likes 87 Dislikes 0

oh brother where art thou? except it's hulk hogan wondering where all the good will and money went

2 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

I hope his recent MAGA phase puts him into irrelevance

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

Magats will put him on a pedestal but really that's not much of a praise because they would put a wad of chewed gum on that pedestal if it stuck to a liberals shoe and mildly inconvenienced him.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Hogan sabotaged wrestlers when they tried to unionize. Fuck that asshole!

2 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Long-awaited? Wat? People waited for this?

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That's awesome that walking trashcan doesn't need a biopic. I doubt that it would have shown what an asshole he always was.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

What about his murderer son?

Whoah wait a minute - so the founder and spokesman of Pastamania was also a WRESTLER? Damn that’s crazy.

2 years ago | Likes 34 Dislikes 0

A true regret of mine is that Pastamania existed contemporaneously with my childhood in the Mall of America and I never even knew it was there.

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

oh man... that's legit tragic, you missed a real cultural milestone there: like I know it was just bad pasta endorsed by a steroid-addled racist, but it's just such a snapshot of such a spectacularly bizarre pop-culture glitch

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I still hate he has a cameo in Gremlins 2.

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

I hate that he made movies... period

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Oh come on! Suburban Commando was… a movie.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Was that the "I WAS FROZEN TODAY" movie?

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Maybe? All I remember at this point was the cat being flung out of a tree and Christopher Lloyd shooting a traffic signal box with a Ray-gun.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Got bad news about "Home Alone 2" for ya, scro :(

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

So he got super jacked for nothing./s

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

On top of everything else, Hogan is anti-union. Dude's dirt on a worker's shoe.

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Great now we're going to hear Hulk Hogan bitching like Kevin Sorbo.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Many moons ago I worked at the Tampa Sportatorium . During my time there I met many of the old school wrestlers. Saw many of them naked. Lets just put it this way,Ole Hulk isnt very well proportioned. I was mightily unimpressed. It was a very interesting few months.Lots of cocaine and loose women, and a few loose boys ! Now if they told the REAL behind the scene stories thatd make a helluva movie .

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Andre should have smooshed Hulk Hogan's face like he wanted to.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Someone could probably still get Kevin Sorbo to do it.

2 years ago | Likes 54 Dislikes 1

Naw, they’re looking for actors to cast in the role.

2 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 1

They’re not looking that hard, supposedly they cast Ben Affleck instead

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Brutal.

"And Hogan, you big bald son of a bitch, kiss my ass!"
-Vince Russo

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Wasn't there already a movie about him. It wasn't all that long as he finished quite quickly with his friends wife.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Joker director... Are you sure he isn't joking?

2 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 2

I think he's trying to outcringe his last movie so he can stay relevant

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

If you mean Joker, then I'd plead that there's not that much wrong with the film itself. It's nothing special, but it's a competent portrait of a shitty broken human in a comic-book universe. What IS cringe is the face-slappingly stupid take that some whiny little incels took from it, but you can't really lay that at Phillips's feet, any more than you can blame The Boys for what some brain-addled morons think about Homelander.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

You definitely can lay that partly at Phillip's feet. He spent a lot of time doing "you can't say anything nowadays!" interviews prior to release and the film itself is messy and incoherent in what it's trying to say. It leaves itself wide open to the kind of takes it got. It isn't like The Boys which has a clear message that dumb people misread, it's a buffet of half-developed ideas and themes that it's hard to refute any individual take on, even some of the very stupid ones

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Thank you, I wasn't aware of the outside context like interviews. And I agree that it's not really valid to compare Joker to Homelander, who's a much more outright monster.

I guess the key ambiguity with Joker is that it says, "if you pile enough shit on people, then they'll eventually snap," and... that's not actually untrue, but the question is whether the breaking point is actually beyond reasonable human expectations.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'd say the error that certain people made with Joker was not a categorical error, but just a question of degree and proportion. Basement-dwelling trolls elevating their own petulant little grievances to compare to those of a fictional character with massive psychiatric problems in a caricature universe.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well, he already played a villain in Mad Max Furiosa. You can't just play 2 villains in your lifetime.

Oh my god. Is this real? I need a quick backstory or good article that i dont have to google lol

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

It's wrestling banter.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

His words are pure poetry.

2 years ago | Likes 58 Dislikes 0

Anybody want a peanut?

2 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 0

When both Andre and Hossein dislike you, you know you done fucked up. Just hope you are smart enough to realize it, and change your ways.

2 years ago | Likes 64 Dislikes 1

He wasn’t.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

i could hear his voice as i read it.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

If only he'd gotten the chance.

2 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

Yeah.. this reads like a wrestling bit..in character. I understand Hogan sucks but this Andre quote is likely out of context.

2 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

Of *COURSE* it's a wrestling bit. What else would it be?

I swear, some of y'all are acting are acting like you're still not sure if pro wrestling is for real.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

So.. the Kevin Sorbo one is now able to finally be made then? (/S)

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Watching sorbo try to play hulk hogan might be somewhat amusing for a minute or so because it would be so bad. Sure wouldn't pay for it, though. :P

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Hulk Hogan's been an asshole for a looooong time. Why would Chris Hemsworth even agree to a project like that? I guess it would make sense if the script was going to rake him over the coals, but still. Nowadays people don't want to know any more about the guy than they already do. They just want Hulk Hogan to stfu and go away.

2 years ago | Likes 68 Dislikes 3

All wrestlers really

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 4

Because Hollywood is still pretty sure that people will pay money to go see movies, and Chris Hemsworth was promised some of that money, and he likes money too. Would the movie have flopped? Maybe. If it did, it wouldn't have hurt Hemsworth's career, and he would've been paid anyway.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Biopics are made about terrible people all the time. If the writer and director are honest, they don't shy away from the low points of that person's life. So my guess is that it would have depicted the rise and fall of Hogan and all of the dirty shit he's done. Someone needs to play the bad guy on screen and there's no shame in it.

2 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Gonna be honest, as a NOT wrestling fan, finding out Hogan was a complete piece of shit was fairly recent for me and related to the noise made in the political news sphere. I can't even remember where I first heard about him because he was completely irrelevant to my interests until I started hearing about his policy of being a shitheel.

2 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

There is a YouTube video of his son being arrested for DUI and he, Hulk, actually was a decent law abiding citizen. He knew his son was a mess and needed to stopped. But yeah he’s a POS … I can’t argue that.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Tbh, I knew Hulk Hogan was a famous wrestler with the kind of risiculous mustache you see on seventy years old retired farmers in Co Kerry... And that was it, for three out of my four decades. I learned that he was a douchebag from anecdotes and tidbits I found while reading about André the Giant.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I don't see anything wrong with making a movie about a bad person.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Even if he had no idea what an asshat Hogan was before he was offered the role, you'd think he'd stumble upon some information about it when he researched the guy? Yeah. There's something about this situation that makes me side-eye Hemsworth just a little bit about putting his name on this one.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I'm guessing that Hemsworth "stumbling on some information" might be one of the factors in the cancellation.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Took him long enough! lmao

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

they should make it with Hulk Hogan playing himself... so it's just a movie about a sad old man trying to cling unto his youth and succes now that it's all gone xD

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They already made The Wrestler. Good movie, doesn't need any Hogan in it.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

i just want it to be a movie that make Hogan sad, he deserves it ^^

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Don't worry brother! I'm sure Kurt Cameron is free lol

2 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 4

Isn't he busy doing young earth creationist propaganda?

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'll bet you a shiny nickel who he's voting for

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He's voting for god. I'm not sure which god. Probably a malevolent one.

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

I know i'm gonna regret asking, but who's the other guy?

2 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Since no one really answered. He's a nobody but he has a Nazi symbol (SS Bolts) tattooed on his arm. Hence he took a selfie with a visible Nazi.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Who is he? He left society and gave up his identity when he affiliated himself with a group that actively abhors society.

I'm sorry, but we don't name garbage.

2 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 3

That is an insult to garbage, as garbage doesn't identify as a Nazi.
Being a Nazi is being in the lowest denomination a human can get.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Dunno, but he's a nazi, so fuck that guy.

2 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 3

Ok .. so you know he's a nazi. Someone asks who he is and you respond "idk, but he's a nazi" .. you gotta provide a bit more than that.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 19

Why don't you?

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He literally has two Nazi emblems tattooed on his arm, man. You don't have to know who he is to be certain that he's a Nazi.

2 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 2

He has one definite symbol. Out of context a simple iron cross is not considered a hate symbol. Accompanied with a swastika denotes it as a hate symbol. Little piece of trivia from Wikipedia.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 14

He inferred he's a nazi from the tattoos on his arm.

2 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

Yeah I failed to notice the SS tattoo somehow. Complaint retracted

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 5

The SS logo and the Iron Cross is just the right amount of infos you need on this guy. As far as I could find in a 5 minutes search, he's an unidentified pos with an identified pos.

2 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 3

Long awaited? This is the first time I've actually heard of it. And I wouldn't have been awaiting it had I heard of it sooner. Rolling my eyes sure. The guy lost relevance when those tapes of Terry Bollea being racist leaked. That's Hulk Hogan's real name btw. Hulk Hogan is just a character he plays

2 years ago | Likes 503 Dislikes 6

I honestly thought he died a while ago

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Only the good die young...

"I am a bad American, fight for the rights of cis white men. Video tapes are not my friend, Ill sue anyone and make a trend." Or however the song goes.

He was forced to admit in court that hulk hogan may have a 10inch dick, but Terry certainly doesn't.

2 years ago | Likes 101 Dislikes 0

2 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Don't forget hos racism when he found out his daughter was in an inter-race relationship.

2 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Didn't his son kill a guy with his car?

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Honestly? I don't know. I don't follow him. He's an 80's and early 90's raslin star.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Wasn't he a snitch that ruined WWE's chances at unionizing?

2 years ago | Likes 46 Dislikes 0

Yep. Jesse Ventura attempted to talk other talent into forming a wrestlers' union, and Hulk ratted him out to Vince McMahon.

2 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 1

And as I recall Jesse was already in SAG, so he had insurance and other benefits, he was really just looking out for the other wrestlers, and Hogan screwed them all over.

2 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Yeah, same here. I havent payed much attention to Hogan since the 90s when he was cool.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Plus he's just such an immensely unappealing character/person.

I can't imagine actually paying money to see him.

2 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

I grew up during the peak of Hulkamania. He was such a huge star that other fictional characters in TV shows looked up to him as an idol.

It wasn’t common knowledge that he was such a piece of shit

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I was born in 83, so I suppose I must have been too late and only seen him when he was in decline.

Then again, a quick google tells me his peak was around 92. So maybe it's more that I just find him really grating and obnoxious, regardless of what the general perception of him is.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

He was in one of the three TV shows where a feral wolf child is kidnapped and thrown into the ocean in a locked box, only to be rescued by the show’s hero. The other two were Manimal and The Wizard (no connection to the movie of the same name)

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Peter Thiel financed his lawsuit against gawker media, after they published unflattering stories on the both of them. Gawker went under as a result.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Gawker posted revenge porn and refused to take it down after a court order.

The story about Thiel and Hogan taking them down is on par to hearing about a klansman getting beaten into a coma by a couple of pedophiles

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

To be clear, Gawker is not a victim in this story. Gawker was a scummy gossip rag of a blog that deserved to be taken down for doing dozens of shitty things, including obtaining and posting sex tapes without consent and refusing to take them down, making a separate website designed to assist in stalking celebrities, and a lot more.

This wasn't the right wing crushing orphans, this was shitty monsters vs shitty monsters.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I just wish that all of the parties in that lawsuit would be better humans. Like wake up tomorrow with an outlook on life that is nearly the direct opposite of the evil shit they are all known for
