So I just redid my computer and did a search for backgrounds. This post came up in Google. I upvoted and favorited it 4 years ago.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

How about next year at 2 am?

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Lol

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Favourited untill i get a second monitor.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This is the perfect description of favorite.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Build coming up?

12 years ago | Likes 57 Dislikes 0

I've got it built already. I'm just at work, so I'll forget I favorited.

12 years ago | Likes 39 Dislikes 1

Gottcha!

12 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

I favorited as well. Way to go OP!

12 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

How rich do you think we are OP

12 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

with the number of "help I have three screens" comments here...

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

THANK YOU. For the first one alone, THANK YOU!

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The Breaking bad one is not clean on the bottom right (some windows layout I guess?)

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

THANK YOU SO MUCH

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

+1 for Voyager

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Chitown!

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

FYI:Right click on the background and select Personalization Click on Desktop Background Select the Tile picture positioning option

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Thanks! My boyfriend's dual monitors have the cat wallpaper (he just doesn't know it yet).

12 years ago | Likes 203 Dislikes 1

Does he know he's your boyfriend?

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's funny

12 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 0

I saved the resta them in a folder on his desktop if, for some crazy reason, he doesn't want to keep the cat look ^_^

12 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

If he doesn't, I think you know what you need to do....

12 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

DAMMIT SARAH! jk.

12 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I was going to do the same thing haha

12 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I had the exact same thought!

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Nice! Thank you!

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Star Trek wallpapers? *Heavy Breathing*

12 years ago | Likes 36 Dislikes 1

You...I like

12 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Please sir may I have some more?

12 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I have a few but got them from star trek online

12 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I died when I saw Deep Space Nine. And Voyager.

12 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I was like 'WHERE ARE THE STAR TREK WALLPAPERS??!?!?!?!?' Then I saw there were still more pics in the album....

12 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Did you see the "oh, boy!" happy face? Cannot unsee the face!

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Voyager looks so good all the time

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No kidding! I'm currently on watchthrough #3 of all ST content ever - presently in season 6 of Voyager - and I got so excited. =)

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Not sure how to fit them... http://imgur.com/5yoqI6V

12 years ago | Likes 97 Dislikes 2

This is the only setup I can do - I don't have enough room on my desk for another monitor next to my laptop - it's above

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I feel for you.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I find it odd your UPS is on your desk.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It is to give it more air and to occasionally have a look at the power consumption. Also I turn it off every night so that is more handy

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I have the same problem

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Somebody get this guy a desk organizer stat!

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

that is gorgeous

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Terminals and websites are vertical anyway, so portrait mode is great for anything except watching movies!

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I know your pain.

12 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 1

Hate to poop on your party, but that is just the same screen mirrored many times.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nope, just a lot of Facebooks.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ah three screens - for maximized facebookery.

12 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 0

I admit to opening Facebook specifically for the photo; the other content on there was... a little less than safe for work.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

why so much facebook??

12 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I run a couple of roleplay accounts. Passes the time.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just open another window already!

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The Breaking Bad pic is pretty badass, yo.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Favoriting for the Mario 2 and Calvin. Thx

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Awesome shot of ESD.

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Voyager engaged. Fuck yeah!

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The Hulk one isn't really dual screen =\ half blank

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

nice voyager wallpaper!

12 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Right click - Open in new tab - right click and save image as.

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I've got the portal one as 2 separate images, set it up so he's entering the portal on the right side of my right monitor, (1/2)

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

and coming out of the portal on the left side of my left monitor. (2/2)

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm pretty sure I've seen that one on imgur before. It was much more clever.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

aka...the portal one in this gallery is wrong.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Step 1: Get a second screen.

12 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Step 2: Pay the debts that let you buying a second screen

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Sweet....got the Voyager one to work with my triple monitor setup!

12 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

granted, my 3 monitors are all different resolutions, but close enough!

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just a tip- it's mirrored horizontally. Read the "VOYAGER NCC-74656" mirrored on the bow.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Wow. Voyager actually looks sexy there.

12 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Wtf you talking about that ship is hella fine.

12 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I'm more of a Enterprise-D or Defiant guy. Voyager just felt like that awkward spoon that didn't fit with the others in the drawer.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well when you say it like that I totally agree. My childhood is on the Enterprise-D.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"Actually"? It's the sexiest ship in the fleet.Small, nimble, with more bells and whistles than the Borg could shake a stick at. :)

12 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Hahah it usually feels more like that awkward spoon that doesn't quite fit with the others in the drawer.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

How do you set this up? I looked up on YouTube and well is there another way of doing it or do you have to download software?

12 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Set the background as "Tiles"

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Maybe I'm doing it wrong but I set it as tiles and the image just repeats itself...

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Figure out what your resolution is for both monitors and change the image to be that size. Then try.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thank you, I will try that, though I'm home now which means I'm back to peasant status with only one screen.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Weirdly enough it works for me without that...but maybe the reason is that I have 3 screens. However, I had that problem once,(1/2)

Thanks, I'll try it Monday!

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Has anyone actually gotten this to work on "Dual Screens" when one is a laptop and the other is a monitor?

12 years ago | Likes 51 Dislikes 4

Yep, I have to edit the photo in GIMP first though

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Also could try downloading one and setting your wallpaper to tile

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Aaaaand just like that I lost hope on this

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yup, Windows 8. When I unplug the laptop, it even centers the image cropping the sides preventing stretching.

12 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Could you share the settings you have it on? I would suuper appreciate it!

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yup I'm a Mac though :p

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In W7, you have to set it to 'tiled' and have your primary display on the left.

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Because of the differing resolution and positioning of my two monitors, my wallpaper files look like this: http://imgur.com/tj3lJ2X

12 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Of course, that will only work on a setup identical to mine. The best way to find the right positioning is to take a screenshot as a guide

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I feel your pain, brother.

12 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

With that set to Tile, the top left of the file is at the top left of the primary monitor, and extends so that the white bars are off-screen

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Have you tried DisplayFusion?

12 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 1

I usually just set yo extend screen on win 7/8 instead of duplicate although not sure about what your results would be

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You need third party software for you background to stretch to each display otherwise it just duplicates it on each one.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Intel/Nvidia drivers do that natively.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Great call OP, just downloaded display fusion and it works great!

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's what I'm using on a triple monitor setup. Works great!

12 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I use three displays as well but one in portrait orientation..

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Unfortunately, it is a work laptop and I don't have admin rights.

12 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

But no love for those of us with tri-screens... :-(

12 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 7

Just use one and a half of the pictures provided. Duh.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

We have no sympathy

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You and my boyfriend need to calm down with that. Every time he gets a new monitor I'm like, "You are not head of security! Chill!"

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

LOL. I'm a writer. Center screen is for Word, left is the browser, right is for email / wire feeds. Or center is for games / basic Web.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I can respect that.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Not even Windows loves us. :(

12 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

? what

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Windows only natively supports two monitors. You can only use three if you use third-party software. And it doesn't work terrifically well.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

? works perfect for me.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Stretching a single desktop to multiple screens isn't the same as actually having multi-monitor support. Taskbars and Maximize don't behave.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Or those of us with different screens.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I've given up on trying to do one background image. My side monitors are vertical.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Or those who have dual monitors that are vertical instead of horizontal.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What kind of monster....

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Laptop on lower desk, big screen on upper desk.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

try having 4

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And when am I going to see some wallpapers for my dual 2560x1440 setup? Fucking casuals

12 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Eyefinity 1440p or gtfo, noob.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Y'all tri-screen users are super villains and you know it!

12 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

Bwahahha.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

A tri-screen setup is surely the first step in becoming one. Next, underground submarine base, helicopter base inside a volcano...

12 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

And sharks with freakin' lasers on their heads

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Or four...

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I don't have enough room for four monitors. :-(

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They are all 20" 1600x1200. I wish I could say I had them for gaming or something, but mostly make use of them for circuit board design CAD.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I have 3 screens. Halp!

12 years ago | Likes 242 Dislikes 7

go download Display Fusion. Even the free version works great for triple monitor wallpapers

12 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

This guy. DF is a great little tool...I bought it on the Steam Sale a few years back and it's fantastic for triple or quad displays

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

First world problem!

12 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I feel your pain...I have 4.

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Go outside.

12 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I went outside once. It was awful. There was a really bright monitor in the sky blinding me and a cpu somewhere was definitely overheating.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Needs more cats.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

same bro. same.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Halp I need these in 5120x1440

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Buy another so you can stick 2 walls together.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Split the portal one in half and have either half on your left and rihht screens, then find the blank background for the portal pick and (1)

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Put it in the middle. Voila! :)

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My middle one is WQHD (2560x1440). Help!

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Use this one

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

I have this problem too :(

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

First world problems I guess

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ditto! I am trying to commandeer PhotoShop at work just so I can edit a triple screen background photo.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As a photoshoper, "what are ya buyin"? *opens vest full of images and tools*

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As someone too poor to afford a third screen, HAH. HAAAAAH.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Korean 1440p monitors are cheap af

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My main (best) screen was $60 at a best buy.. I'll have to see just how cheap these Korean ones are..

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I have one screen in landscape orientation and one in portrait orientation. Help!

12 years ago | Likes 45 Dislikes 0

Look for -massive- resolution pictures and edit them a bit in PS so that the far side is the 1080x1920, and the top of the other 2 is clipt.

12 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

Why is it so difficult to find portrait wallpapers? Seriously, especially with phones, you would think that SOME would exist.

12 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Tons of them exist, google search, advanced tools, size: 1080x1920, gg

12 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

+1 for awesome internet people troubleshooting for freez <3

12 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Thant was fast, anyways, Thanks!

12 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I use it for 5760x1080, then add 1 relevant word after it, art/nsfw etc works better than most "wallpaper" websites.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Remember the first 17" CRT you ever worked on? Weighed half a ton and made a rude noise when you powered it on - bummmmmmmmmmmm

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I kept my first monitor, huge son of a bitch, 17"CRT :) I had chronic headache for years, finally got LED 23 inch, bam headaches gone.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Degauss that shit

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

*Lack of faith.

12 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

No, I said what I wanted to say.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

hmmm do you have a special gfx card? I think I would like a third screen!

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I just use a normal GPU that has 4 output ports... ZOTAC's GTX 650Ti, cost me around $150.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

2 Radeon HD5870's, SLI'd, supports 6 screens total =)

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's a good way to get a four foot dick in your inbox :/

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No dick in my inbox. I'm unsure if I'm happy or sad about it.
