If they got rid of the sob story bullshit a lot of these shows would be markedly improved. AGT, Ninja, etc.
I think its easy enough to ignore. People like to be able to connect, keeps them interested.
My problem with them was that there’s pretty much one of these LED dance groups every other season and they didn’t do anything special.

Most singers, yes. Thats why i generally dont vie for them, but sometimes theres an x factor, like Grace Vanderwhal or the deaf girl who 1/2

Eh. Theres obviously been marked improvement in led choreography over the years, but i have yet to be blown away. Light balance 1/2
especially, tends to use the same 4-5 moves in every single performance. Its the same problem with every dance group, just prettier. 2/2
